Manami POV

Journal Entry no. 81, page 213 Weather: Sunny

“Autumn just keeps getting better and better! If only my playmate is here… Hmm. It’s been five years since my parents’ divorce. Due to a lot of misunderstandings that weren’t sorted out properly. Those were the last scenes that I especially don’t want to remember. It’s very heartbreaking. But, slowly, I learned to move on.

My father moved to a place far away from here and took my twin brother with him. Yes, I have a twin brother. His name is Akito Soutori, twenty-eight seconds older than me.  He is my playmate, no matter what season it is. But, five years ago, I lost my playmate, my twin, my bother. I lost my father. And back then, all I could blame is my Mom.

Crap… My eyes are sweating again. Hehe~ well today is our birthday-me and my twin. We’ve been communicating with each other a year and a half after our parents’ divorce. But of course, we kept it a secret from our parents. Akito-nii and I have decided to meet up today after school, and yes, it’s a secret from our parents.

[-nii = nii refers to older brother]

I need to go now. Ja nee~!”

As soon as I got down the stairs, my mom hugged me so tight that I can’t breathe.

“M..m..mom… Let go…”

“Happy Birthday Manami! – Mom

“Hehe! Thanks Mom! ^^ have you greeted Akito-nii? It’s his birthday too.” ((:

Mom didn’t answer.

“Hmmm? I’ll just open my gift later when I get home. Mom, I won’t be back early. I still need to go somewhere. It’s important.”

“-____- okay. Okay. Just be careful. Call me ASAP before you go home.”

“Yes Mom! Thanks. See you later!”

I got out of our house and started to walk to school.

The streets in our neighborhood are filled with fallen leaves that are ankle-deep.

But first, I need to stop by the convenience store.

Buying a snack on the way to school became my habit. Tehee ^^V

At the convenience store… I bought a small box of milk :3

As usual.

A guy wearing eye glasses the same as Rin’s rushed outside right after he finished paying for the food. A guy and a girl are waiting for him outside.

I think I just saw Ryuu…

Oh well -3- I must be imagining things.

At school

As soon as I stepped inside the school’s lobby, I quickly headed to my locker to unload my bag.

I opened my locker and found…

Letters.

Lots of them…

I think… there are at least… twenty-four? -_____- some of them fell off.

Ughhhh

I quickly shut my locker and found almost everyone staring at me….

“Oh please…” I whispered.

o/////o  THIS IS SOOOOOO. . . 

I quickly picked up the letters that had fallen off and took the letters that are still inside the locker and quickly headed to my classroom.
