"Elle...Elle.....Elle......ELLLLLLLLE. ELVIEEEE"
I hear my name echoing but who's calling me? Blinking my eyes slowly, the vision is so bright and blurry, so I blinked again then flinched at the sharp pain in my arm, the pain subsidies and my vision is starting to clear up.
"Finally, I had to pinch you to wake you up, gosh how long do you intend to stay in this class? Everyone has already left" I turned slowly while rubbing my eyes to see who's talking to me, the smell of perfume waft to my nose, so it must be a lady.
A pair of brown eyes fills with dreams and wonder, pink lips shimmering in the sunlight, slowly her face came to focus, Jessica was waving her hand in front of me.
"Oh... Hey Jess, aren't you home yet?"
I replied slumbered from sleep.
"Home" she shriek "well, if you, missy didn't fall asleep during class like a dead corpse then I would have been able to go home and enjoy that cake Jack got for me and have my nails done as well as my hair...." she ranted.
I yawn at her ranting, slowly gathering my stuff, I glance at my phone it was 3:25pm. A pile of paper caught my eyes, "ELVIE" was written on a yellow sticky note stuck on top of the pile of paper, my punishment for falling asleep in Mr. Stevens class. Yay!
Next to it was a paper folded in half, glancing over at Jessica, who's still ranting about how she could've gotten her stuff done and what a bad student I am to fall asleep. I rolled my eyes at my friend, and open the paper
"So you do drool in class, I knew it. Don't worry, I won't tell a soul, but meet me in front of the gate. And I did you a favour and completed it for you, no need to thank me. Just don't drool in class and also you owe me.
Charlie"
"Just don't drool!!!"
Jessica laughed hold her stomache.
My hand flew to my mouth only to realize there's nothing there. That Charlie is so annoying. "Hahaha very funny" I joked.
"I'm sorry" wiping fake tears off her eyes "It's just Charlie never fails to humiliate and bursted out laughing.
"If you're not dating Jack I think you and Charlie would make a great couple" I said gathering my stuff lifting the pile of work off the table.
"Me and Charlie! Oh imagine I'd be so rich and I'll be your older sister... How disgusting!" She said half smiling
"Oh god you being my sister... Utter nightmare. Come on, if you hurry I can buy you another cake I think the bakery should be opened now, it's better than Jack's one for sure" I could see the smile spreading on Jessica's face.
"Nothing beats the bakery cakes" Jessica said then we walked out the door.
As we reach the gate. We saw a crowd of girls hold their phones and swirming.
"Da heck is that, are they giving out free sample or something" Jessica said with her eyebrow raised.
"I don't know, but at the front of... Oh no!" I gasped hold my breath "It's Charlie" I realized after a short while
"Charlie? what is he doing... Ohhh the note"she realized "Well I bid you, good luck in battle and come with a single stretch okay?" She motioned to the group of girls.
"Roger that ma'am" I laughed as Jessica pulled her phone and talked to Jack.
I walk toward another exit to avoid the press and the group of girls. Sneakily and using all my ninja skills to get in the black car that thank God parked 3 metres away.
I grabbed my phone and texted Charlie
"I'm in the car. Stop showing off."
A young man around 21 opened the door a sat in the driver seat. Brown hair, black sunglasses and jeans.
"I swear how long does it takes you to walk out of class" he shook his head.
"Hey hey hey, mister, I wasn't going to get myself killed by going through that mob. I summoned the ninja in me to get here ya know. Show some respect" I defended myself.
"You're funny" he said then started the car.
"Where are we going?" I asked looking out the window admiring the trees that are blocking my view.
"To my house" he said concerntrating on the road.
"Why?" I said looking at my brother.
"You're meeting my fiancee and having lunch with us" he replied
"Congratulations, free food here I come" I joked returning my attention to the window.
The car soon pulled into a fancy driveway around a fountain and stop in front of a huge mansion.
"Oh shi... Sugars I mean." I gasped
Charlie raised an eyebrow "What? You lived in a mansion before"
I looked at him, atonished "yeah, but dude, I know you were rich but like to be this rich rich... holy cow... Damn I feel poor man"
He scoffed
"What!!" I retorted
"Come on if you love the house I'm sure you'd want to explore inside" he said already leaving the car.
"Hey!!! wait!!!" I called out getting out of the car in a hurry grabbing my backpack.
