Raiyne
"Raiyne! Get up!" I hear my mum shout over the high pitch squealing of the alarm that she set on my phone.
"I'm up" I roll my eyes, I've been up for time.
"You are wearing way too much makeup," she says as i walk into the kitchen
"you care because...?" i grab a tiny bottle of vodka and back it like a shot
"ugh... just get in the car" she rolls her eyes at me
"You should be at least trying to make a good impression, Raiyne" she whines as she turns out of our nasty street
"I can't be asked, if I'm being honest" I shrug, I hate school and I can't wait to get out.
"Just... Please don't get in trouble today, please" she begs
"Yeah, yeah okay whatever, bye" she stops and I jump out the car.
This school is dull, grey and dull, it looks like it could crumble if it ever got too windy, or it would collapse if it was really rainy. It's only the second time I've been here,I don't like it already. I got expelled from my last school and well, this is the only school that would take me at such late notice, they told my mum they can change me, shape me into a respectable young lady or whatever rubbish they tell people to get them to pick the school, I don't know but I'd like to see them try.
I need a spliff pretty bad so I wander around the outside of the school looking for a place to smoke- I'm really early- no one's about. I find a back wall, I don't think anyone will see me and it's not technically on school premises either, I should be good. I get out a spliff I rolled earlier and my lighter, I light it, there isn't much in this one and I finish it way too quickly so I roll up another one. The thing about smoking is a lot of people do it because it's 'cool' but it's not because you get this icky smokers cough that only gets worse whatever you do, you teeth go yellow no matter how hard you brush them and when you get addicted you can't go a full day without it and that's it you're stuck with a stinking cough and yellow teeth. I don't do tabaco, just weed and only because being high is so much better than real life.
"Ahem" I feel a shadow over me as I'm nearly finished my third blunt-waiting gets boring, don't judge- I throw it over my shoulder, I was nearly done anyway.
I turn around " You alright?" I raise an eyebrow at the tallish man wearing a grey suit with a nike jacket over it, what kind of waste man...
"Yes I'm quite alright but you on the other hand are in trouble" he looks down at me shaking his head
"Why?" I act confused, just to piss him off
"Don't ask questions, What's your name?" he ignores my question
"I thought you said don't ask questions" I shrug
"Funny one" he says dryly, I can see he's trying not to laugh though, I smirk
"Au revoir, sexy" I wink and blow a kiss walking away from him
"Oi , young lady come back here!" I ignore him and go round to the entrance of the school.
I find my form room with help from the head of year, I smile and act nice because there's not point of being rude, head of years are always such pussies anyways.
"Hi, I'm Mrs Seabreive, I'm you form tutor, You must be Raiyne Colbat? Did I say that right?" I cringe as she says my name because she says it very very wrong
"Nah, it's like Rain, like when it rains, you know. It was raining when I was born, my mums lazy" I shrug, she nods
"Okay, class we have a new student joining us, would you like to tell us about yourself, Raiyne" she says my name wrong again. It's not that hard!
