Baby Mockingjay (ON HOLD)

Chap.17 Hospital part 2

Peeta pov.

As I wake up I hear a doctor saying "1.2.3.4.5" Then he stops. I look for Katniss but, she's not here. Suddenly I hear a baby crying.

Katniss just had our baby.

I try to get up but an alarm went off. I lay back down.  A nurse came in and turn off the alarm. She checks my heart beat,  if I'm breathing  and she said congratulation. She gives me a t-shirt and sweat pants to put on."put these on before you see them" She said congratulation again and leaves.

I put the t-shirt and the sweat pants on. I leave my room and walk to Katniss's room. I see Mrs.Everdeen coming out of her room with a baby. She sees me and comes over.

"You want to hold her?" Mrs.Everdeen said.

"Of course." She hands me..."What's her name?"

"Louisa Summer Mellark."

"Summer?" I asked. My grandma's name was Summer.

"Don't ask me. You should ask Katniss. I got to go do some recording stuff I'll see you later." I nod and she walks off.

I open Katniss's door every slowly. I walk in to a sleeping katniss. I sit on the chair and I look at my Louisa. She just looks like katniss. Louisa's eyes open. They're the same color as mine. Deep blue color. She closes them.  I started to talk to her.

"You look like your mommy but, you have my eyes..." Then I realize I don't know what hair color she has. I started to lifting her tiny hat up and she starts to cry. Calm her down. I lift a tiny bit again and see little brown hair everywhere. " And your mommy's hair. I'm sure everyone wants to see you when we get out of the hospital." Louisa smiles. Her first smile I think? I left my head up and see a pair of grey eyes look at me.
