Mummy rides // Chapter 9

Emma pov

It was our last ride before we head for the Universals hotel. We all climb into the Mummy ride. I'm super excited for this ride. Liam, myself, Diana and Harry took the last row.

"Hold on tight and most likely, Enjoy!" The worker speaks before our ride moves forward. Everything went pitch black. I held on to Liam's arm.

"You must find the book," The mummy's voice speak and i hold on Liam's hand tighter.

"Find the book right now! or the mummy will kill us," A guy voice speaks and a shadow appeared behind the rocks to show the vision of the guy.

"SILENCE!" A mummy appeared from no where and we all screamed. Okay i do not like this ride, i hide on Liam's arm. His low chuckle could be heard and i glare at him in the dark. Even though he can't see that i'm glaring, i was hoping he could see.

"If you don't find the book, your souls will be mine to keep!" The mummy speaks.

Okay okay mummy, i'll find the book. My sassy attitude take over. I will show Liam i'm not afraid of this stupid ride. Its just a ride.

"FIND THE BOOK!" The mummy shouts and a whole lot fire came at the sides. Heat could be felt. Our ride drove us to some corner and we hit a wall. Spiders start coming out the wall and our legs were tickled.

Diana starts to squirm beside me. I know she is afraid of spiders. Oh this is gonna be a terrible ride for her. Then our car were zoom back and all of us start screaming again. Then we hit a wall behind us.

"You'll never find the book!" The mummy shouts. "Your souls will be mine too keep!" The mummy adds and our ride spins two times.

"YOU CAN'T STOP ME" Our ride zooms upwards and our rides were zoom down. All of us starts to scream. Lightning flashes everywhere. Diana, I, Mum and El's little voice became so loud now. We scream so loud that the boys had to shout at us to shut up. I started to laugh. Our rides stops for a moment.

"Thats what you get for not finding the book," The mummy says and we are all being brought up to the entrance. We all quickly step out of the ride and began to walk slowly towards the exit.

We stopped on track when the screen at the end show our faces. We all look stupid. The girls face are hideous. We had our mouth hang open. All the boys start laughing at us.

"Alright all, we are gonna head for the hotel now," Dad speaks. Thank god. My legs are sore from all the walking. We finally are out from the mummy ride.

"Wait! Last picture before we go!" Diana shouts from behind me. We all squeeze into the middle and behind us is the 'Revenge of the mummy' logo. Diana run up into some random worker and ask him to help. She run up and sit in front of us.

"All look at the camera, One, two, smile!" The camera flashes. Diana thanked the worker and we all start walking. We all had to walk out the Universals and walk a little to reach our hotel that means we had to past the paparazzi.

"Mr James! How was your day ?" A paparazzi ask.

"Fantastic!" Dad reply and smile. All the paparazzi start flashing all of us. My eyes could go blind if i look up. I fast walk towards the entrance of the hotel building. All the security surrounds the door and all of us entered.

"Reservation for David James," Dad speaks to the servant.

"That will be seven keys, It will be at level fifteen sir," He says before handing dad all the seven keys."Goodnight sir," He adds.

"Goodnight to you," Dad reply and walks up towards the lift. The elevator opens and we all enter. "Here's all your keys," Dad adds as he passes Diana, Me, Zayn and El, Luke each keys. I look up at the lift number.
