Why ~ Sabrina Carpenter.
pretty obvious as to why i would call this a song to describe the relationship between river and sabrina. from both perspectives.
two very different girls from very different worlds that work so well together because of the differences that they have.
"i don't ask for you to change" "and you don't ask for me to change" are key lyrics. sabrina would never ask river to change and river would never ask sabrina to change.
"even our eyes are different colors but we see fine" is a very key lyric as well. river is black and sabrina is white but that doesn't mean that they are any different. they're a normal couple. not a black person and a white person. that doesn't matter. what matters is that they love each other.
