i first heard this song and thought to myself "this is what i want the relationship im portraying in my book to be like".
of course, the song is about sex and that's a huge factor in my books. as it is real life. but i love this song because it's not just about solely sex.
there's an emotional level. that's how both river and sabrina feel towards each other. sabrina feeling that for the first time and exploring that feeling throughout the book.
"i wanna love you with the lights on, keep you all night long" and "darling, i wanna see every inch of you" and also "and i'd really like to get to know you" are some of the lyrics that really reminded of the relationship between the girls.
