as the book goes on, you'll see that river's perspective on sabrina is just another hook up with just another girl. it's what she's used to.
and as the song states, it's a "Plot Twist" when river finds out that it's far from just another hookup with another girl.
the chorus describes river perfectly. it's exactly what i was going for when writing her.
"i might be hands on, but i never hold hands" is my favorite line from the song. holding hands is something that becomes very important to the story for river so it's nice to see the change and this lyric really describes that.
