CH1: Wish to Become Someone Better

The rays of the sun shine through the windows of my room as they slowly bug me to wake up. *Ah...Agh...* I slowly wake myself up and sit up from my comfy bed. I sighed as I looked around my room. "Another day of the same old thing." I get up and begin to dress into my school uniform. I brushed my hair before I put on my star shaped star hair pins along with my locket that my mother gave me. I smiled at myself at my reflection of my dresser mirror.

"Azami! You gonna be late if you don't start walking to school right about now!" I hear father yell as I run down the steps. Father was at the end of the staircase with my bento box at hand.

"Thank you Father! See you after school!" I kissed him on the cheek before I walked out the door.

"Ah Wait Azami!"

"Hm?" I quickly turned around as I reached the front gate of our house.

"Hiroki called and said that he won't be able to meet you this morning but hopefully at school he will since he got some business to take care of." Father announced to me as he stood at the door way.

"Again? Okie..." I frowned at the announcement. I always walk with my best childhood friend Hiroki on the way to school. Lately he's been busy with a whole lot of things lately. I wonder what business he needs to take care off because he has never informed me what it is. I shrugged, *I guess I will never know until he tells me.* I make my way to school as I tense up when I see a few fellow classmates from school.

*Oh No! Hiroki out all times you aren't here with me.* I think to myself as I feel anxiety begging to overwhelm me. I didn't know what to do, I couldn't take another path to go to school because it will take longer for me to get there. I squeezed my fist because I hated the idea that I had to walk pass these guys. I continued walking with my head down so that my hair covered my face.

"Oy! Check it out Fellas! The princess is without her little knight." I flintched, and began to run.

"Hey get back here!" Luckily for me I have good stamina that I got the chance to get passed them quickly. My heart was pounding loudly within my ears, it's not because I was running, but fear. I quickly turned at a corner as they ran passed me. "Shit! Where she go?!" One of them said as they ran.

I sighed as I rest my hand over my loud heart. I stood there for a bit until my heart became back to normal. *I hope my day doesn't get any worse* I think to myself as I continued my way to the school grounds. As soon as I stepped onto the school grounds I was stopped by Hiroki's fan girls as they glared at me. "Hey you! Where's Hiroki!?"

"I-I don't know..." I said softly.

"LIER! I know you know where he is. Quit hogging him! Tell us where our beloved Hiroki is!" One of Hiroki's fan girls yelled at me. I stepped backed in fear that I accidently fell to the ground. They all begin to laugh at me, "Oh my god! What a Klutz! HAHAHAHA!"

Kukai was walking along with Yaya when he hears girls laughing at a green haired girl. He hears their comment. He gets upset he couldn't believe what they are doing to the poor girl, "HEY! Leave her alone!"

They all turned and where surprised to see him. Pink hearts appeared within their eyes as they saw him, they all say in a union, "KUKAI SOUMA!!!!" They all surrounded him.

I took the advantage to get up and ran away. Kukai saw me running away, "Hey Wait!"

*Can this day get any worse?* The bell rang, signaling that class has begun, "Oh No! I am gonna be late!" I ran to my locker to set in my stuff and my lunch bento before I ran to class as fast as I can.
