I stumbled out of the make-shift bathroom for the 6th time this week.
For some reason it was getting harder and harder for me to hold down my drinks and honestly, I hated it.
Shouts from downstairs pounded at my ears and left me more nauseous then before. I clung to the gaurdrail with all my strength and let my feet guide me to the safety of the bottom step.
"Cole, you alright man?" I heard a voice ask, but i quickly disregarded it and ran to the front door. I emptied the last contents of my stomach on the front lawn and watched the cars pass by on the street. I sat down and leaned over so that my knees were tucked under my chest and my head was rested on the cool grass. It felt so good.
"Hey Cole, what's going on, you need some water?" the voice was back and I groaned in response. A hand rested on the back of my neck and slightly squeezed, for some reason, I started to cry.
Not the soppy, Oh i miss home so much cry, or the, My life is shit and it's all my fault cry, but the cry that you just have no idea why your doing it. The hand on my neck held on, moving with my body as it shook from the sobbing I did. It was comforting in a way, but I really wanted to know who it belonged to and why they were touching me. I lifted my head from the grass and turned my head so i could see who it was.
"Oh, Hey Nate" he was my best friend. The kind that'll tell you not to do things but ends up doing them with me anyways. I knew him since grade school, but now where closer.
He nodded in response and handed me an already open water bottle. I took it from his hands and started to drink. I forced the water down as I felt more vodka forcing it' way up to my throat and swallowed.
"Let's get you home" Nate suggested, grabbing my arm and pulling me upwards. I resisted and slumped back to the ground groaning again. He shook his head and came around behind me, forcing me to my feet and kept me standing.
"Mom" I mumbled, shuffling along with him as he took out my car keys and started to search for my car.
"Your coming over my house for tonight" the blur of the night passed by me in box's of metal, with red fire fly's stuck to the back and rolled up pieces of licorice as wheels. I smiled and slung my head back, looking up at the sky and speaking to the god that one group at school praises all day long
"Ha, I need a new chance at life" and rolled my head forward.
so i''ve had a couple of messages like 'Thought you didn't like love stories'
and stuff like that but guess what...
stop being a lil bitch and suck it up. don't read it if you don't
want to. simple.
anyways, this is kind of a true story, but some
of the obvious parts (that come in later) that
sound not true are most likley not.
i'm just using some events from my
life to make it sound real.
enjoy this other short chapter and hopefully my next one
will be longer than 362 words
