For some reason I couldn't find words to speak.

My tongue was tied in knots and I could still feel the wet grass on my forehead, a feeling I will soon come accustomed too.

The darkness that clouded my eyes was now turning colors.

Or so I thought.

"Cole, hey Cole wake up" a voice called, stirring me from my surreal dream.

I opened my eye's and watched as my bestfriend stood up beside me and walked over to his desk. He slid over the mirror and reached behind into the darkness that took the space between the wall and the back of the slab. I saw the money in his hand and immediatly sat up.

i shook my head and made pushing gestures with my hands, as if I was trying to push away an invisible force. This made me uncomfortable so I stopped.  He noticed my movements and disregarded them, stepping beside me once more and waving the money in my face

"You are leaving. Tonight. Forget all of this, your not you're dad and your mom sure in the hell wouldn't want you like this"

I shook my head vigorously and continued until Nate grabbed at my ears and stopped me. His eye's always kept my attention on them. They looked like the ocean when all the ice melted away and welcomed in summer. His gaze stayed focused on mine and I knew there was no way out of this.

The money dropped in my lap and it felt like a brick had just landed on my legs. The expression of money weighing down pockets made perfect sense to me now, because not only had my best friend given me his life's savings, but he also wanted me to be safe.

Save away from the dark horrors I called a past and move on to something worth living for.

He wanted me to leave the country and go far away. I didn't know where to go. I had a ziploc bag filled with checks and different numbers of money but my mind didn't let me wander any further into what was really happening

The shaking of my head returned and he stoped me with a forceful shake to the shoulders

"Dammit Cole, stop it! Just stop. Your going away from here and your taking very little with you. So let's go before it gets daylight again"

There was no way out of talking Nate out of this, so I just nodded my head and stood myself up.

The Airport was stuffed with hurried people and busy attendants. Me and Nate walked up the the front gate and stood there watching as everyone got ushered to there seats in the plane and load there luggage to the under carriage.

I wasn't ready to leave. I didnt want to leave.

The lady at the doors was motioning other people into the plane and the line was moving up.

"Ok Cole. Here you go. Call me as soon as you get there, and don't foget to do what I told you"

He patted twice and my eye's looked immediatley to the double doors. My ticket felt like a dead weight as I lifted it to hand it to the flight instructor and shuffle onto the plane. My seat was C14 and I was all the way by A1.

Feeling the seats as I went along made me uneasy. The material was foriegn to me and the people let there eyes wander all over me. I looked down to make sure I didn't have anything showing, and when I did, I almost passed my seat.

"Watch where your going!" someone yelled from behind me as my bag made contact with there arm. I nodded in there direction and eased into my seat, leaning my head back and staring up at the blinking red light above me.

"It means put your seatbelt on"

a small voice beside me said. My head turned to face the noise and saw a girl no younger than I was

"It's right there" she said again, pointing at the seatbelt behind me and then reaching across me to grab it. She smiled as the button clicked and then turned her attention back to me.

"I'm Sara, and you are?" she waited for my answer, and when i didn't give her one, she asked again

"What's your name?" the question spun through the air and didn't come anywhere near to being answered. She sat back in confusion and didn't say anything else.

The plane took off and we were in the air within 10 minutes. Sara had already gotten comfortable and I looked past her towards the window, watching the clouds glide by slowly.

When she was just about to doze off i shook her slightly, until she opened her eye's and asked me what my problem was

"I have no problem, but my name is Cole" and then I leaned my head back and closed my eye's, and i remember seeing her smile as she layed back down and did the same.

I really suck at the super long and meaningful chapters so for now on, this is pretty much what i'm going to do. i don't like doing the 'Part I - Part II' crap so i'm just going to keep them short. Thanks to everyone who read my book and I think I'm going to start updating everytime a chapter gets 100 reads.

Well, thanks again and enjoy my half stupid soon to be love story
