The Weekend (Part Two)

~Grays POV~

We walked at of the school grounds and out the gates.

"Where are we going Gray" Lucy looked at me with curiosity.

"You will find out"

"But I wanna know" she wined. We walked to the bus stop. A couple minutes later the bus came, and we got on.

"7 dollars sir and 5.50 dollars for you Ma'am" the bus driver asked. Why is Lucy cheaper than me gosh. I paid the man and we sat down in free seats that was in the middle of the bus.

"How far away is this place" Lucy asked with a cute look on her face.

"About 30 to 40 minutes away" I looked over to Lucy, she was staring out the window watching stuff fly passed as the bus moved. 30 minutes later I pressed the button to stop the bus at the next bus stop. The bus stopped and we got off the bus.

"Are we there?!" Lucy excitedly asked.

"We have to get lunch first"

"Where we are eating"

"Come this way". We walked over to a restaurant called 'Starlight diner' I opened the door for her, and she gave me a smile. We walked in to see tables and chairs and a man standing close to the door.

"Hello, tables for two?" He asked. We nodded and we followed him to a table with a stand that said 'table 28' there was a window next to it, on the table there were two menus and a rose in a glass vase and two candles on either side of the vase, on the side closer to the window. I sat down on my chair and Lucy sat down on hers and we started to look though the menus. I ordered a burger with fries and Lucy ordered a Hawaiian pizza. 15 minutes later our food came out. Lucy had a big smile on her when she saw the food coming. We are our food and I paid for the food.

"You sure you don't want me to pay you back" she asked.

"I'm sure, it was the thing to make you up with" we walked to the park and Lucy smiled when she saw children playing around. One kid fell down close by and started crying. Lucy walked over to the little boy and help him up and talked to him. The little boy ran off to his friends and Lucy came back to me.

"Y-you're good with children by the looks of it" I explained.

"Yeah, I like to make people smile especially children" she smiled at me and we kept on walking. We got to know each other a lot better. I made her laugh a lot which made me blush a bit. I'm starting to think that whatever this feeling is with her, is love I think... I'm not too sure but I will talk to Jellal when we get back. He knows he's in love with Erza but he's too shy to tell her his feelings. We walked around town for hours and went to get some dinner. Lucy started to look a bit tired and we went to the bus stop. We caught the next bus that goes passed the school. We got on the bus and payed the bus driver. We sat down 10 minutes later I felt something on my shoulder, and I looked over. Lucy fell asleep and moved her head on my shoulder, she looks so cute when she is sleeping... When the bus stopped, I gently woke up Lucy and she rubbed her eyes and I helped her walk back to the dorm. More than half way she started to drift off again. So, I carried her bridal style the rest of the way to the dorm. I opened the door and the boys looked at me funny and I took her to her room and put her in bed. I moved her hair out of her face and stared at her for a bit. I finally I left her room and turned off her side light. I shut the door behind me and came to face all the boys in our dorm.

"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN" Lyon yelled.

"WAS THIS A DATE" Loke joined in.

"IF IT WAS YOU KNOW I LIKE HER I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS" Natsu screamed.

"Guys calm down I'm sure it's just mis-" Jellal was cut off.

"ONE NO IT WASNT A DATE TWO NATSU STOP THINKING ABOUT YOUR THE ONLY ONE THAT THINKS THAT THEY LIKE LUCY IN THE WAY!!" I melted down with anger. It was awkward silence for a few minutes. I looked at Jellal with my head down, he grabbed my shoulder and took me into his room. He shut the door once I got in his room.

"What the hell was that Fullbuster" he asked.

" I think I'm falling for her... I get nervous around her and sometimes really protective... what do you think..."

"Mm sounds like your crushing on her, are you going to tell her?"

"No, not yet at least... can you try and get the others to calm down I think I'm just going to go to bed now..." Jellal nodded and I went out his room with my head down. I could feel that the guys were watching me go to my room. I walked over to my room and closed the door behind me. I lied on my bed and just stared at the roof. About 20 mins after I turned over and went to sleep with my head buzzing with thoughts.
