《 (y/n) POV 》

The sun shone brightly through the curtains of my room. I covered my face with my hand to block the sunlight from waking me up. Finally opening my eyes, still half-asleep, I grabbed my phone from the bedside table and checked the time.

8.09am

It's still early... I yawned while staring at the ceiling, still laying down on the bed with blankets all over the place.

I still had 2 more days, including today, until I will be starting my new job here. I will be working as a waitress at a coffee shop. I should make the most of my free days before working. I bet it will stressful during the first few weeks so I should try to relax for these 2 days. After making my bed, I walked to the kitchen of my apartment and started preparing myself breakfast.

With 'Save Me' by BTS playing in the background, I poured milk into the bowl filled with cereal.

Save me, save me, I need your love before I fall, fall... I sung softly to myself. I guess you could consider me as a fan of them. I walked over to the dining table with the bowl of cereal and phone in hand. I ate my cereal quietly, just staring at the wall in front of me.(A/N- Reminds me of Wonwoo) With the exception of the crunching sound of me chewing cereal in my mouth, the room was full of silence.

My neighbours are very quiet... But it's nice for some silence... I wondered to myself.

I washed the bowl and spoon after finishing breakfast. I looked at the clock on the wall and it was 9.00am sharp.

What should I do today? I asked nobody but myself.

Ah! An idea popped into my mind. I unlocked my phone and opened the messenger app.

It was sent, but your brother wasn't online. If your wondering, my brother is Kim Taehyun. (A/N- No, this is not the Kim Taehyung (V). I just wanted to put this easter egg in to see how many people noticed AND I purposely wrote his name with no 'g' at the end) I took a shower after that. Coming back to my phone, I saw a reply from Taehyun.

Wow! I'm actually free today 😁Let's meet in a few!

I smiled and proceeded to get dressed into proper clothes. I wore a sweater with the words 'Boombayah' printed on it, ripped jeans and puma shoes.

Locking the door, I climbed down the stairs and exited the building, not forgetting to wave at the friendly security guard patrolling the gate.

I jogged towards the entrance of the shop I will be meeting my brother. The shop was decorated with flowers and had a sign with the word 'Simple' written on it. (A/N- I love you if you got the reference) It's also the shop that I will be working at so why not visit it before working there.

The bell let out a soft ring as I entered the cafe. It was filled with the nice aroma of coffee. (A/N- Sorry but I like the smell of coffee 😂) It also looked very clean inside as it just opened a few days ago. I sat down on a seat near the window and waited for Taehyun.
