The feeling of being teleported, whilst not unpleasant, was not the best feeling in the world.

Raven closed her eyes as the Traveller's hand lay on her shoulder, and then began to work it's magic. He manipulated the energies just so, that the two of them were broken down to their most basic form, so that their personal energies were released. Then, he directed their energies to their destination in the blink of an eye, where they reassembled with a gust of wind. The whole occurrence took less than three seconds, which impressed her.

She stumbled forward, and then caught herself as she adjusted to her new location.

Her head was spinning, and she felt both tired and wide awake at the same time. It was unnerving, to say the least.

A rush of air behind her told Raven that her rice had vanished, and she sighed, beofre looking around.

There were two other people present, as far as she could tell, neither of whom she was able to distinguish their facial features very well. The first one she believed to be male. He wore a long, black cloak, which, whilst it didn't have a hood, did have a high collar, which reached halfway up his cheek. A black ribbon, about an inch wide, was tied over his nose, causing him to look somewhat feral. He had tanned skin, with dark hair and piercing eyes that made a small, primal voice inside of her whisper 'danger...as she studied him. Her eyes dropped down, a small jolt of surprise hitting her as she noticed that his feet were bare.

She stepped forward, and looked at the other person. She was a Fae. She had clear, violet wings with turqoise detailings. She wore a light, flowing dress, which moved in the light breeze. Her skin was fair, her short, messy hair blond with streaks to match her wings and her feet too were bare. The young lass looked up, and unnerving pink eyes met shocking violet. Silk spiders had created a delicate mask on her face that emphasised her eyes and cheekbones, which sparkled in the moonlight.

The girl took a deep breath.

"Welcome, miss. We are the Raiders second-in-commands, and are thus currently the highest ranking Raiders present in Moglux. We would like to thank you for coming here tonight- but, in all honesty, it's not as though you truly had a choice," she began, her voice soft but her tone proud, haughty even.

"If you allow yourself to be recruited, you shall be working directly under myself and my partner. I shall be known as Pixie, and that glaring creature on your left we generally call Wolf. Unless he's a thing stupid,  then I usually just call him 'idiot'."

Raven snorted at that, causing Pixie to grin and Wolf to roll his eyes.

"They might not be the most origional names, but they get the job done. We find keeping things such as names simply and obvious easier to remember. And besides, it also makes it easier to build a reputation wherever we go when people can instantly recognise us in our... 'uniform'."

Pixie motioned at her partner to continue.

"You already know what pay you will get it you join us- but I'd be surprised if Venarius told you what  you can expect," he explained. "We will mostly use you for Raids, and gathering intel. We work as somewhat of an international peace force- the royals of each country we help paying for our every need. We try to only intervene when we are called upon, and try to remain as inconspicuous as we can.

Currently, our battle is with The Nobility. As you are aware, they are an cruel, power hungry criminal organisation, who besides smuggling,  rape, kidnapping and murder are suspected to be planning to throw a coup, by not only dethroning the young queen but also flat out murder her and her sister, wherever she may be."

Raven nodded, but didn't reply just yet.

Pixie shifted uncomfortably, and scratched the back of her neck.

"Well? Are you willing to assist us, or is further coercion necessary?"

Raven raised her eyebrow, before asking: "Hypothetically speaking... If  I refused, what would happen?"

Pixie bit her lip. "If you refused... We would be forced to reveal what we know about you to the Enforcers. We may not get along with them, nor do we trust most of them, but they do our dirty work for us. However, if you join us- we would also pay tribute to your associates, Loveday and Lodell..."

Raven stood for a few seconds, processing the information and pretending to think about it, whilst the answer was already obvious.

"I'm in."
