Author's Note: This chapter is about 4 months into the story, things have happened since the fall of Zeus, and there have been 2 different kings since then. King Jack, from my other book, and King Tyrant. Tyrant is show for Tyrant James Battleborn, a form of James Battleborn made when he went corrupted. Tyrant is much much stronger than James. James may be the strongest God whom ever lived, but Tyrant isn't a God. He's more of a demon to be honest. The picture is him. Enjoy this tale!  I plan on making more Future tales.

I know by now that I'm used to change. It's a part of living in Olympus. But when King Tyrant was turned against us, we didn't know how to feel. I've never felt so small. No matter what I did, it didn't work. He was stronger than all of us. We fused 8 different people and had Farseer Void heal the amalgamation of 8 powerful beings. But even then we were outmatched. I never thought I'd see another version of myself who I made friends with die in front of my eyes. I struck him down with the souls of 7 others. The pain I felt was more than physical pain, because this version of me had a girlfriend and a daughter.  All ripped away as his body lay cold, losing his life within the seconds we had left. We unfused, and I walked towards him only to be stopped by Frost. "What are you doing, God of War? We won. You've nothing else for this being," he growls. I picked him up and looked him in the eye. "This is my friend. He is the only foe I've slain that I care about. You will not stop me from saying goodbye!" I snapped. He had the look of fear on his face as I set him down. I looked at Tyrant, who had his daughter hugging him, blood stained his chest and his body. "James...I'm sorry I torn everybody down. You all saw me as a hero, but I failed-" he was interrupted by my words, "Do not say that, Φίλος(Fílos aka Friend in Greek). You were better than most," I soothed my friend. "Before you die, you must pick an heir. Your daughter cannot rule alone." he nods. Tyrant sighed, "I suppose I must before I fade away. My daughter shall rule with: Ty the Demon Fox," he nods. I gave him an eyebrow. "I transfer my power and knowledge to him. He is now the King of Olympus." he says, giving his daughter a hug before fading away. A single tear falls from my face, I've never cried at a fallen soldier, but my friend was never coming back. I knew he'd be missed. I walked over to Ty the Demon Fox, an amalgamation made by Jack so it was technically his son, in order to break the news. "Ty..." I start, he looked at me. "Yeah?!" he bounces happily, "What is it, James?" I looked at him, "Tyrant left you to take his spot, to lead his Kingdom. He is leaving you his power and with it his throne," I nod. Ty was speechless, for once. I never thought he'd stay quiet. Tyrant was now gone, but I felt deep in my heart that something was going to happen soon.
