Chloe's POV:-

---------------------------------------------

Connor and I said our goodbyes to the others before heading out to Connors car.

He opened the door for me, I smiled, thanking him and stepped in before Connor jogged round to the drivers side and hopped in, starting the engine.

"So where are we going?" I asked hoping he would tell me. "It's a surprise" he replied glancing over at me and giving me a smirk before turning back to the road.

I hate surprises, I like to just know what's happening.

About 10 minutes later Connor pulled up outside this old looking building. I turned to Connor giving him a confused look.

He stepped out the car, making his way over to the passenger side and opening the door, allowing me to step out.

"Put this on" Connor Said shoving a blindfold in front of my face.

"Connor I am not putting this on!" I replied pushing his hand away.

"Put it on" he said again.

"Fine." I sulked. Connor smiled knowing he got his own way.

I laughed and Connor put the blind fold on leaving me in complete darkness.

"Okayy so can you see me?" Connor asked. "No Connor, now can you take me to wherever we are going to I can take this stupid thing off?" I pleaded. Connor just laughed and put his arm around my waist guiding me to wherever he was taking me.

Don't you ever get that feeling when you are blind folded that you are gonna walk into something? So you start to walk funny, trying to feel your way around? Yeh? Well that's what I was doing. Suddenly Connor burst out laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked confused. "What the hell are you doing?" He asked holding back his laughter. "I'm making sure I don't walk into anything" I replied in a 'duh' kinda tone.

"Really? Because to me, your walking like you shat yourself!" He exclaimed bursting into fits of laughter.

I stopped walking like a weirdo, realising what Connor said was true and also burst out laughing.

"Hey, I'm just worried incase you make me walk into a lamppost or something!" I said holding onto Connor tightly.

"I would do no such thing!" Connor said, sounding shocked.

Yeh maybe he didn't make me walk into a lamppost but clearly Connor wasn't paying attention which caused us to fall over something and come crashing to the ground.

"What was that?" I asked trying to stand up, still not being able to see because I still had this stupid blind fold on.

"A bin..." Connor said then burst out laughing once more. If anyone was about they must think we are crazy.

"At least it wasn't a lamppost?" Connor questioned, wondering if I was mad or not. I ended up sitting on the floor trying to stop myself from laughing. We hadn't even got to where we were supposed to be and already it was the best date I had ever been on and possibly the strangest.

"Are we there yet?" I whined probably sounding like a 4 year old going on a long car journey or something.

Connor pulled of the blind fold and I squinted my eyes. "Ahh it burns, it burns!!" I dramatically exclaimed blocking out the sun.

Connor just laughed and soon enough my eyes adjusted to the bright sunlight.

"Wow" is all I could say. We were standing in a small park, there were trees around us and a blanket was placed in the middle of the grass with a picnic basket on it. No one was around, it was like we were the only ones in the world.

Connor dragged me over to the blanket. We both sat down and started to eat. As we ate we never stopped talking, it's like we could never run out of things to talk about. Connor brought out some chips and I jumped up and squealed. I was hoping he would have brought chips.

While eating the most amazing chips I had ever had, Connor stood up and went over by one of the trees and pulled out his guitar that was sitting behind it.

"I don't want another pretty face, I don't want just anyone to hold, I don't want my love to go to waste, I want you and your beautiful soul"

Connor started singing the lyrics to beautiful soul. I loved that song and Connor singing it with his perfect voice just made it 10 times better.

Halfway through the song I had finished my chips and I just sat there staring into Connors eyes.

Once the song had finished he lay down on the blanket looking up at the stars that had filled the sky. I lay down next to him, we sat in silence for about 20 minutes just staring at all the stars that shone brightly in the sky.

Occasionally we would point out shapes that the stars made, laughing as we debated wether one was a bunny or a car. Don't ask me how they could be mistaken for each other but apparently in Connors eyes it was a car.

It was a bunny.

"Come on let's go home" Connor said standing up, holding out a hand for me to take. I placed my hand in his as he helped me up and we started walking back to his car hand in hand.

It really was the perfect date.
