"Sh-shadow Freddy?" I whispered half to myself, I couldn't believe my eyes as he easily entered the lodge. I took a step forward and he looked up his eyes wide with shock, the others began to swarm around him asking question after question.
"Everyone calm down," he chuckled, they backed off a bit to let me finally meet him once more.
"I didn't think you made it," I whispered and lowered my head, his eyes filled with sympathy.
"It wasn't your fault marionette you wouldn't have been able to help him and stop nightmare and Springtrap, that was fifty years ago yes the memory will stick but move on with them, they are your main priority now and since I finally found you it's my job to make sure you don't fall to nightmare, promise me you won't allow him to harm any of them especially you," shadow Freddy half demanded, I nodded and looked at them.
"From the moment they were created I made it my purpose," I whispered to myself, I couldn't shake the dark feeling stirring within me. I shook it off for now but kept it in my mind incase it served as a warning, shadow Freddy went back to answering my questions and I left the lodge to think once more. James and shadow Freddy didn't have to help me but they did, they risked their lives to help me but I would never understand if they were brave or stupid. I kept going following a path that led somewhere, I didn't let my needle thin legs touch the ground otherwise I would get too distracted. The breeze blew stronger now calming my edginess down, I put one of my hands on a tree. It's bark was rough yet smooth at the same time, I grew fascinated as I had never truly touched a tree before the fire. I looked around me and began to see that every tree and every leaf and blade of grass was unique, I felt at peace with the world now even the dark feeling couldn't interrupt this peace.
"Oh Goldy if only you were here to see this with them," I said to myself, my voice sounded more and more like a whisper of muffled words over a stereo each time I spoke. It wasn't my voice box but it was my soul that chose to speak this way, remembering back to the Pizzarea I remembered they took my voice box out as my old voice scared kids. I gave a sigh and began to head back, I looked at my side and noticed the cut Springtraps blade had left. I had forgotten its stinging pain until now, I shook my head remembering the purple glint it gave off. I noticed something else was different about the cut, out of it a sharp rib like structure had slowly begun to grow. Now I was back and awake it had begun it's growth again, only now did I realise what that purple glint was. I gasped and knew I had to hide it so using as little of my power as possible I shielded the growth so it wouldn't be seen on my physical form until it was complete, shaking my head from the use of power I went back to the lodge. I realised on my walk back that this was what was causing my dark feeling, shadow Freddy had been the one to trigger the feeling but it wasn't him that caused it. Giving a sigh I went back into the lodge, the others had calmed down and shadow Freddy was speaking with James.
"I didn't think shadow Freddy made it out!" Freddy boasted, I chuckled as Freddy was at least happy to have someone else from our old home back again. Bonnie began to fiddle about with his guitar tuning it and fixing it up after so long without use, I went back to my box to hide from the world for only a few moments. I turned on the sweet music box and sat in my large box in silence, how long would it be before the growth had completely took over. I began to sob knowing that thanks to Springtraps blade I was in for a world of emotion, the others would find out sooner or later but I wasn't going to tell them. I wanted to hide it as long as I can, the less they knew the better they would be. I couldn't get his blood red eyes from my mind, his dark and evil laugh filled my head. I knew Springtrap and nightmare were slowly closing in, even if they didn't know where we were they would destroy the world just to get us. I wouldn't let them hurt the children, I wouldn't let them hurt my children. I was dragged from my thoughts as shadow Freddy opened my box, his face was filled with concern at my isolation.
"I know something's worrying you, you only ever hide in your box to hide from whatever problems your facing, I know this from the years we have lived in these forms together," Shadow Freddy attempted to comfort me, I left my box to face him.
"I worry for them shadow Freddy, I can't get him out of my head, his blood red eyes and Springtraps purple tinted blade, I fear for the others shadow, what if nightmare takes them when I'm not around or Springtrap kills those I care about?" I questioned mostly myself, shadow Freddy put a hand on my shoulder.
"Don't worry your the strongest of us all, I am sure you can protect us, even if your hurting you must stay strong or they will begin to panic," shadow Freddy comforted, I nodded and sighed.
"You're right if I appear weak they will panic," I sighed, I put a hand on my head as a sudden wave of pain ran through my needle thin body. Shadow Freddy caught me as I almost fell, I gave a groan as the pain continued to run through me. Shadow Freddy left to get James as James was the only other one I could count on, I slowly lost my consciousness. The last thing I saw was Freddy barging in, his eyes filled with horror and fury at the sight of me.
