"Come on, we have to move faster!" I yelled at the two. "Knowing them, they'll be on us in-"

"We know! Shut the fuck up!" Alex growled. "We've been running for ten minutes straight now! We can take a fucking break!"

"No, we can't." I shook my head, only for Tris to trip and fall.

"Goddamnit!" She cried.

"Thank God." Alex sighed, slowing her pace down.

"Okay, but we need a place to hide... like a cave or a tree..." I sighed, walking over to her. "Their my parents, their bound to be crafty-"

"Kids come on!" Tords distance voice growled. "I don't have time for this!"

"Tree. Now." I whispered, causing the other two to nod.

They climbed the tree as if we were back in training, and I followed quickly behind from the other tree. We were all near each other, Tris with her eyes wide and shaking, as Alex watched Tris carefully, looking at the ground every so often.

"Kiiiiiddddsss." Tord said, walking even closer to us. "Come out come out wherever you are..."

Alex looked at me, signing "he's going to find us."

"You got your guns?" I replied, she nodded. "Worse case scenario, we put some led in that asshole-"

A gunshot rang out from directly below us, causing Tris to yelp. I looked down and met Tords eyes, eyeing his sinister grin. "Found you."

"Let them go, and I'll stay with you." I sighed. "Please, they've got nothing to do with me-"

"(Y/N) were a team!" Alex yelled at me. "Why would you-"

"Take care of Tris." I shook my head, climbing down from the tree. "If you're going to kill us, kill me, and only me. Please."

"I'm not going to kill you." Tord rolled his eyes. "My wife would be angry with me, and I don't need that right now."

"So..."

"So I'm taking you back home. All three of you." He explained. "You're going to stay in different rooms, and stay in their with bars so you can't escape again."

Alex dropped down, gun in hand. She pointed it at him, and held it steady. "Give me one good reason not to shoot you."

"Because I can dodge a bullet, and that little girl in that tree, doesn't need to come home with me." He said warningly. "So I suggest you put the gun down Alex, before I shoot you-"

I pulled out a gun and shot him in the leg, just as Tris dropped down from her tree. I yelled sorry as we took off again, leaving Tord to bleed on the forest floor.

"I-I'm so sorry!" Tris cried as she ran.

"It's alright kiddo." I sighed, running beside her.

"Yeah, we made it out okay." Alex agreed. "I thought you were going to let him shoot me."

"I wouldn't do that." I shook my head.

"You were going to sacrifice yourself."

"Yeah, that's what teams do for each other. Besides, I couldn't let you two die without telling each other how you feel."

"Wait what?!" Alex said, stopping herself from moving any farther.

"I'm not stupid. You both really like each other." I smiled. "Now, we've gatta go, who knows how fast he will get on his feet again!"

Meanwhile-

"Hey (Y/N)?" Tord asked, laying against the ground.

"What?"

"Our daughter shot me." He stated bluntly.

"WHAT?! Are you okay?!"

"Yeah, I just can't exactly stand..."

"Bloody hell, the Devils stuck on the ground, is he?"

"I need my guardian angel." He smiled, wincing as pain shot up his leg. "Uh but seriously, can you get somebody down here? This really hurts..."

"You got shot by not only a kid, but our daughter." She chuckled. "I'll get Paul down there-"

"Please not Paul or Patryck... preferably you..."

"Why?"

"I don't want them making fun of me..."

"For fucks sakes Tord! If I leave this place for a second, everything goes to shit, and our army men run ramped in the streets!"

"Fiiiiiinnnneeee." He groaned. "Just... leave out the part that my own daughter shot me..."

"Your own daughter shot you?" Tom laughed.

"Shit, (Y/N) Toms here, Never mind." He sighed, hanging up the phone. "Shut up Jehovahs Witness, I'm sorry my daughter is well trained and badass."

"Your her father, shouldn't you be able to take her down Commie?" He snickered.

"Shut up and help me out, would you?" Tord snapped, ripping a sleeve off of his hoodie, tying it tightly around his leg. "Can you help me get to base?"

"Fine." Tom grunted. "You owe me though."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Tord rolled his eyes as Tom helped him to his feet.

Tom helped Tord to the base, the dictator noticed his lack of care about the favor, as if they were both friends. Tord didn't mind, if Tom was close with you, he didn't have a reason not to get close with the blue hoodie.

"Your daughters a badass."

"Takes after her mom." Tord grinned. "God I shouldn't have threatened her assistants..."

"Yeah, definitely was not a good idea..."

"Wait why are you even out here?"

"(Y/N) told me to make sure you don't harm the kids..."

"Oooof course." Tord sighed. "She's always been cautious..."

"Can you blame her? She's with you!"

"Yeah, I guess that's fair." Tord chuckled. "Uh, thanks for staying with her when I leave. I know she can be a bit crazy without me near..."

"She's a good person, Tord." Tom shook his head. "She's just trying to save the ones she loves, and when you're gone, it throws her entire self out of wack."

"I don't leave that often-"

"It doesn't matter, she loves you Tord. She knows you love her too, but she can't help but worry. And somebody as badass as her?"

"Will worry to the extreme..." Tord muttered.

"Exactly. That one time you left for a month? She was sleeping on the couch every night, so afraid to fall asleep she had any movie that could distract her mind playing. She only slept when her body forced her to, and even that was rare."

"Seriously?" Tord asked with wide eyes. "I knew her anxiety was as but..."

"She has nightmares every night while you're away. I hear her cry out your name, and I'm the one who has to clam her down."

"What should I do?" Tord asked desperate. "How can I stop her from doing that? Because I-"

"Try to have a good rep with your daughter. (Y/N) will be able to protect your daughter while you're away on the trip you're going on soon, and that'll help her. I think. I'm not a mother nor a female in general, but I think."

"You sure about that?"

Tom threw him to the ground. "I could leave you here, you know that right? I could say that you had some sort of needle that heeled your wounds, and you left to find your daughter. Nobody would have to know."

"You've thought about this for far to long I assume?"

"Yup."

"Fuck you, Tom."

"You wish, Tord."
