Unpredictable

Chapter 3

Life goes on, I have no plans. Every day I see him with different girls. I mean what is his job? Try different girls everyday and show his colours or something?! I just can’t get over him. He kept hurting me but I never thought to give up! Finally it was the end of year, therefore the prom is coming soon.  Every girl in my class had a partner for tonight. Then there’s me who had no boys, just me. I felt like a nerd.

Eventhough I always have my smile plastered on, inside it was killing me!  

I was strolling down the street in the morning to get to the school, thinking millions of things at the same time, it was like more than twenty tabs open in one slide but they are still working. That is how my mind is everyday, maybe always.  

The next day in school, I was getting ready and getting my stuff to the next class, when I opened my locker I found, a white paper fell down from it. I was confused then I bent to my knees and grabbed the paper.  I opened it to see what it was. “Will you be my partner tonight?” I was left with O shaped mouth. Then I thought maybe someone accidentally put it in my locker since there was no name. But guess what I found when I turned the paper,

“To: Milly…

From: If you wanna find out, who I am. Come to the school volleyball court… I will be there”

I was very puzzled that my mouth shape never left. Practically I had mixed emotions. I was excited but at the same time so confused! I didn’t think twice, as soon as I got my sensual back I ran to the school volleyball court.                

 I can only capture the cool boys, who I guess already had a partner for tonight and plus I don't think they wanna go out with someone like me.  

Then at a sudden I saw a boy who was all alone. I controlled myself not getting excited, so I walked to his way calmly. WHAT?!?! I was shocked, there was Edward in the corner of the volleyball court. Edward is that stupid guy who work with me in chemistry lessons, and copy my homework and forget me like there's nothing between us! Or at least that's what I am thinking.  

I was halt, he walked over to me. I didn’t move my mouth. Until he said “So, Milly I guess you found my note! I thought you’ll never come, but whoa here you are!” I was completely speechless and sightless. I didn’t look anyway but his shoes. I didn’t have the courage to look at his eyes, (eventhought he had the best eyes in the world!)

He took one step towards me, with one hand he hold my hand and the other held my face. He brought my face up so I can see his eyes. My heart was beating so rapidly, like the day he first walked into my classroom. His hands are so hard that I can’t ever move away from them. 

I have never been as this close to a cool guy in my school before. This was just like a dream for me. I couldn't believe what was happening!
