My next two lessons went quite quickly. In English we had a seating plan and I sat next to a fairly nice guy who didn't talk much but when he did it was really funny. We had to do a timed essay so we couldn't exactly chat. I also had Chemistry, which was really boring.

For lunch I queued in the canteen, holding my tray of very average looking lasagne, I also grabbed some lemonade and an apple. Nothing had prices on so I took my whole purse out ready to pay with change. The dinner lady tapped on the till and I saw it came to £2.25, I pulled out the right money and held it out in my hand, smiling… why wouldn't she take it?

"Here," a toned, muscly arm appeared from over my shoulder holding out a card with 'Louis Tomlinson' written on it.

Louis POV

Her eye brows were knitted together in a puzzled expression as she held out the money. I chuckled and jogged the short distance from where I was to the front of the queue, standing just behind her.

"Here," I said handing my lunch card to Noreen, the dinner lady, giving her an apologetic grin. She scanned it quickly, eager to get rid of me and Allie. Oh, what a charming lady she was…

Allie's face relaxed and her forehead smoothed as she realised the problem, she was adorable and I could read her like a book. "Oh, thank you Louis." I smiled at the sound of her saying my name.

"No problemo!" I grinned. I'm such a goofball. I carried my tray over to the usual table, hoping she'd catch on and follow me. One of the perks of being popular was sitting at the best table in the canteen… A few of the other guys were there already but we were still fairly early.

I sat down and Allie hesitated beside me, unsure of what to do.

I could tell she felt uncomfortable. "Do you mind if I sit with-"

"Well sit down you goof!" I laughed whilst tapping the empty space next to me, trying to make her feel at ease. She gave a relieved smile and sat down beside me. Harry looked up from across the table, surprised by my sudden outburst. His eyes flickered from me to Allie.

"Hey shorty! From English, right?" They must have just had a lesson together…

She blushed at the nickname, clearly a bit embarrassed. "Allie," I quietly corrected on behalf of her.

"Oh, how rude of me- My name's Harry!" He leant over and her delicate hand became engulfed in his.

"Nice to meet you," she smiled gently. She seemed more nervous than she was earlier; she must've been a little put off by all the attention. I wanted her to feel comfortable, so I made small talk with Harry about our upcoming Rugby practice as we all ate our lunch. I felt Allie's arm relax against mine as the focus was taken away from her.

Her silver necklace glinted in the light and beside the familiar locker key I noticed a small silver locket. It was heart shaped and obviously contained something. She soon caught me looking, following my eye line to the locket and quickly tucked it under her jumper neckline. I frowned, slightly confused but continued casual chat with Harry as Allie sat quietly. After a few minutes, I glanced at her attractive face again. She sipped at her lemonade and licked her lips slightly. Her lips were full and parted, glistening slightly. She was cute but sexy, in an understated sort of way.

Harry cleared his throat, smirking knowingly at my thoughts. He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively before I shot him a warning glare. He muffled his laughter with his hands before taking another gulp of his drink. I looked at Allie out of the corner of my eye, relieved to see she was looking down, oblivious to the whole exchange.
