Only Me

Light wanted to keep him in his home forever. Unfortunately, that couldn't be the case.

"I have to leave. My uncle is asking where I am." Tetsuji said as he set his phone down on Light's desk, pushing up his glasses. Tetsuji was glad they weren't broken from the early encounter he had with his bullies.

"Oh?" Light's heart dropped when he heard that. Damn uncle, he thought to himself. He didn't want Tetsuji to leave. "Can I walk you home?" he asks, smiling.

"I..." Tetsuji seems to hesitate. "Y-Yeah." He gathered all his stuff and left Light's house, with the student following right after him.

"You live with your uncle, right? Why not your parents?" Light asked Tetsuji, walking very close to him.

"Ah, they're in the States right now..." Tetsuji replied. "I didn't want to go there, so they let me stay with my uncle.." he shyly looked at the ground. "I'm not good with people, so moving to a different country would be too much for me..."

How cute, Light thought. "You're not a people person, huh? That's why you're so nervous around me, haha!" he laughed. "But, we're friends, right?"

"Yeah... That's only because you didn't bully me." Tetsuji smiled. "You're a nice person, Light. I like you for that.."

Light sees Tetsuji blush. "I like you, too." he replies with a grin on his face.

They continue to walk as Light asks Tetsuji countless questions. The shy boy stops and looks at Light.

"I can go on by myself." Tetsuji says. "Thank you for walking with me, Light..." he gives a small bow and hurries away. "I'll see you at school...!"

Light clenches his fists and sighs. Just like that, Tetsuji is gone. That's not what was supposed to happen. Light discreetly follows Tetsuji to his home. There's no way Light wasn't going to pick up the perfect opportunity to find out where the love of his life lives.

Hiding behind a bush, Light watches as Tetsuji knocks at  door. A man opens the door, presumably Tetsuji's uncle.

"You teenagers are always spending the night out," the man sighs in disappointment. "Well, I left you money on the table so you can order food. I gotta work today." he closes the door and enters his home.

Light decides to stay there for a while, trying his best to hide in the back of Tetsuji's home now. His uncle finally leaves in ten minutes, leaving Tetsuji alone for the night.

It's only until Light's heart starts beating crazy is when he realizes what he's doing. Staking outside of Tetsuji's house is insane, but he wouldn't mind, right? Light needs to know everything about him.

Light walks towards a window, peeking in. He spots Tetsuji, but he disappears from Light's view. Annoyed by this, Light runs to another window.

The bathroom window. He hides and waits, getting out of view when the door opens. It's Tetsuji with a towel. Light is slowly realizing what he's doing is highly illegal. He shrugs it off, remembering he killed two people. How worse can he get?

Light watches intensely as Tetsuji takes all his clothes off. His face turns red when he sees Tetsuji with nothing on, not even his glasses. His eyes are beautiful. He wanted to cover every inch of Tetsuji's body, all for himself. The thoughts of what he could to do Tetsuji cloud his mind. The blood dripping down his nose stops him from thinking any more.

He decides to leave Tetsuji's house before any urges take over.

Next Day

Light entered the school and was already met with chaos. He passed by a student who asked, "Yo, why are the police here?!" to his friend. Light continued to walk and saw a pair of men dressed in suits. They had to be detectives, just like his father.

There could only be one reason why the police are here. If that's the case, Light might be safe from being questioned. Tetsuji, however... They could link him to the victims. Light walked around the school and searched for his favorite person.

"Light!" A familiar voice said. Someone dragged Light to the restroom by his arm. It's Tetsuji, with a look of worry on his face. "Light, the police are here.." he said, looking around the restroom for people. It's just them here. "Those guys who bullied me... They died... N-No, they were killed! Did I do it? You said I was.."

Before Tetsuji could finish, Light covered his mouth. "Shh," he said. "You didn't do anything. Something might've happened after your encounter with them, but that's all. Don't worry." he remembers Tetsuji's naked body. God, how he wanted to do something so badly. Just wait, Light. Calm down. "If you did do something, they would have caught you already." he laughed to cheer up his mood.

Tetsuji looked down and frowned. He's cleary nervous. "What if they question me? What do I say? Was I the last person to see them?" he bit his lip, feeling so helpless. "Is there anything I can do, Light...?"

Light cupped his cheek. "Don't worry, Tetsuji." he smiled. "Let's wait and see how this goes down." Leaning down, he kissed Tetsuji's forehead. "In any case, you were with me, alright? Say that and everything will be fine." he started to caress Tetsuji's cheek, then his hair. "Only me.."

Tetsuji slowly nodded. "Okay. I was with you, Light. Only you." he repeats. Light continues to touch his cheek, lifting his head up as if Light was inspecting him. Tetsuji escapes Light's grasp with a blush spread across his cheeks, then he left the restroom out of embarrassment. Light smiles warmly. He's so shy.

Later

"Tetsuji Seto, huh? Your classmates told us you're a quiet kid. How are ya?" An old male said as he opened the door to the teacher's meeting room. This had to be a detective, Tetsuji thought.
"I'm... well." he replied, taking a seat. "Um.. Am I in trouble?" he pretended to be oblivious.

"No, no," the old man chuckled. "We just want to ask you some questions. I'm sure you heard about the pair of students that died last week after school." he said.

"Yeah..." Tetsuji stared at his lap, trying to hide all signs of nervousness.

"Enough of this nice cop bullshit," the younger detective said, slamming his hands on the large desk. "These kids said the victims bullied you a lot. On the day of their deaths, they were messing with you. That doesn't sound too good for you." he glared right at Tetsuji.

"That's right." Tetsuji replied. "They did mess me with me, but.. I didn't kill them! Right after school, I was with my friend!" he spit out the lie Light told him to tell. Would it work?

The old man sighed and shook his head, placing his hand on the younger male. "Calm down." he said. "Which friend, Tetsuji?"

"Light." Tetsuji said. "Light Yagami."

"Light, Light.." the irritated young man went through his notebook. "A solid alibi, huh? Shit!" he closed the notebook in anger. "Light told us earlier he was with a friend.. Specifically named Tetsuji."

"Apart from there being absolutely no piece of evidence at the scene, there's not a single person who is a suspect.." the old man shook his head in frustration. "We apologize for suspecting you, Tetsuji-kun. You can go now."

Tetsuji couldn't believe it worked. These detectives are idiots. "I-I hope you solve the case soon.." he hurried out of room, taking a deep breath.

Tetsuji entered the classroom with all eyes on him. He sighs and takes his usual seat in the back, right next to a girl.

"So, what happened?" asks the girl in a whisper. "Are you in trouble?"

Tetsuji shakes his head no. That girl is Makoto. She's talkative, though she never talked to him in the first place besides here. She's probably obsessed with drama, Tetsuji thinks. "I'm cleared by the cops, but I'm kinda shaken up." he replies.

"Maybe to cheer you up, you and I can go out somewhere?" Makoto winks. "I know we never talked, but you're cute, and I-"

Tetsuji glares at his notebook. "No thanks." he whispers back, cutting off her rambling.

Watching the two talk in the classroom was no other than Light. He tapped his pencil on the desk, angrily thinking of a way to get rid of that idiot girl.
