Choosing teams

The next day I woke up earlier than usually. I hoped out of bed and got ready speedy quick.

I headed out of cabin 6 and down to the dining pavilion. Today we had to pick who was on our team. As caption I was to go up and pick cabins to join us.

Yesterday before we went to sleep, me and my cabin had discussed who we wanted.

**FLASH BACK**

We were in cabin 6 huddled around a large table.

"Okay so tomorrow we have to pick our team. I wanted to know who our top priorities are." I announced to everyone of my siblings

"I think we should take the Hephaestus cabin." Taylor my sixteen year old sister said.

"Yeah we could use there hands to build traps" Dylan my seventeen year old brother said.

"Okay, they sound like a good option." I said "does everyone agree?"

Everyone nodded there heads

"I think...we should have the..Demeter cabin" Sophie my ten year old sister practically whispered. She's really shy.

"Yeah they could be a good option."

"Also Posidean" Sophie added, "if you had to fight percy you would probably get distracted and he's a really good offense player"

I nodded considering what she was saying. I wanted percy on my team how could I not but, I didn't need to sound like I wanted only him.

"All In favor of Demeter and Posidean say I" I called

"I!" Filled cabin 6

"All opposed say me" I called again

"....." Dead silence.

"Well we have Hephaestus,Demeter, and Posidean so far" I announced.

The rest went by and we came up with wanting Hephaestus, Demeter, Posidean, Apollo, Artemis, and Zeus

**END OF FLASHBACK**

What we wanted was kinda high rated. I just hoped we got Posidean at least.

I made it to the dining pavilion and waited for everyone else. There was almost everyone at the Athena table, a few Apollo campers, and about 7 ares cabin kids.

As I waited I did worksheets and began coming up with a plan to win capture the flag.

In no time everyone was here. Food was served and I walked over to Percy's table. I sat down and intertwined our hands. He kissed me good morning and we ate. There was so much excitement the whole place was buzzing.

"Did you figure out which cabins your siblings wanted?" Percy asked

"Yep. They want Hephaestus, Demeter, Posidean, Apollo, Artemis, and Zeus." I replied.

"Cool" percy said

"Did you ask for me?" Percy laughed.

"No actually it was my sister Sophie." I said

"Really WOW" he said surprise

I laughed softly at his surprise-ness.

Chiron stood right at that moment.

"Okay time for the Athena and ares cabin counselors to come and pick their teams."

The Athena cabin looked at me and I stood making my way up along with Clarisse.

We both got up there and stood awaiting our cue to start. Chiron could tell because he spoke up.

"Okay ares cabin can choose one cabin to fight with them." He stated

"Posidean" Clarisse exclaimed cheerfully.

'WHAT!!!!' Is all I was thinking 'WHY PERCY!!!!!'

Then it hit me she was trying to get percy so she could use him against me.

Everyone seemed shocked though. I mean who would expect Clarrise to pick percy first?!

"Okay annabeth" Chiron said shaking me out of my shock.

"Hephaestus" I called.

The Hephaestus cabin cheered.

"Hera" Clarrise said and cheers came from the Hera table

"Zeus" i replied

"Apollo" Clarisse smiled.

'Man why is she taking all of ours.' I though before saying "Artemis"

The room got quit as we both fought for the best teams.

"Hades"

"Demeter"

"Hermes"

After breaftast was done this was our teams...

The Athena cabin had Hephaestus, Zeus, Artemis, Demeter, Hypnos, Nike, Tyche, Hebe, Iris, and Hecate

While the ares cabin had Posidean, Hera, Apollo, hades, Hermes, Aphrodite, Dionysus, and Nemesis
