May The Best Mage Win Pt. 3- Akira vs Minerva!

"And now it's time for the final battle of the day. Akira vs Minerva!" The crowed roared in excitement.

"Two amazingly strong women from incredible guilds. Now Fairy tail just proved that they are the strongest guild going back to the previous battle but can Saber steal the win?!" Chapati announced with much enthusiasm.

"Yajima-san who is your money this battle?" Chapati asked turning to said man, who replied after a moment of thought,

"My, I'd have to say, Akira"

"Good choice, my money's on Akira as well-Kabo!" Mato said in reply to which Chapati said,

"Well lets just see if Akira can hold her own against Minerva like she did Erza." With that I turn back to my guild before I entered the arena for some support. I got a good sense of her power during the naval battle. I just hope I can hold my own. And make it look as easy as Jakeel made it seem to beat her up. Not only that, but I want to get back at saber for being the jerks they are. I couldn't even look at sting and Rogue after their battle with Natsu and Gajeel. Speaking of Gajeel I hope he's alright after what Natsu did. I'm gonna have to kick his butt for that later and make him apologize.

Anyways, before heading down I asked Makarov and everyone to wish me luck.

"Don't worry Akira, i'm sure you will do fine right number one?" Makarov said gesturing to Mavis who nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, don't even sweat it, you got this Akira" Grey added.

"Yeah for once droopy eyes is right, kick her but out there Akira!" Natsu added slinging an arm around my shoulder blasting fire in the air to which I laugh in reply. They really did believe in me. Now for sure I got to win this. I ball my hand into a fist and give my guild a look of determination. They all do the same.

"You got this Akira!" Mira replied. Jellal comes from the shadows slightly and gives me a reassuring nod. Laxus steps out from behind and stands over me again ruffling my hair he says with a grin,

"Go kick some ass out there."

"Thank's guys. I'm gonna make sure I win. Because kicking ass, is just what I do." Laxus gives me one more grin before hugging me and sending me off to fight.

Jumping off the side we sit on I land in the arena once again gracefully, waiting for the battle to begin. As Minerva walked out her face in a permanent smirk. I resisted the urge to look to Sting for a response. With that the final battle announcements were being made the battle begun.

With no second thoughts Minerva charged me. Her hands heated with her magic. She punches and I block she kicks I block. It was almost like a repeat of Erza's match. But instead I didn't use my weapons. Teleporting to the side Minerva misses but turns around quickly. I was quick as well so when she turned around I delivered three hits, one to her back and one on either of her sides. Minerva falls forward in shock feeling paralyzed from where I hit her for a moment. Hopping to end it quick I took this time to charge up a Hell's gate. Starting with the fighting stance and ending with my fist slammed on the floor. The powerful and well known attack began to rain down from the sky hitting directly over where Minerva was.

 However, these next few moments happened all in slow motion. And there was nothing I could do to stop it.

 I had only wanted to end the match quick, but that a was the mistake on my part. How could I have been so stupid?! I could only stand still as I felt my body being frozen and switched with Minerva's so I was taking her place under the attack of Hell's gate. The timing was so terribly accurate that I didn't miss not a single strike of the attack. I heared off the side Laxus and everyone in Fairy tail scream out my name. The ground before me broke in pieces as again another hole in the ground was formed. Minerva smiled sickly as she moved me again so I was in her grasp. Gripping my neck tightly she grinned in my face. The only good thing I was able to find in that moment was that at least it wasn't my step father or worse, anyone from Akuma's Rose the first day I met them.
