~~Akira's POV~~
It's the 6th and final day of the grand Magic games and so far, way too much has happened for me to even think straight. Lucy had been captured by the Royal army for reasons we don't even know. Sting is confusing the crap out of me with how he really feels. And lastly, I don't even know if Laxus even still likes me, but. For now, that can't matter.
All around me the fireworks explode into pretty colors in the sky over head. The audience is cheering loud and clear chanting the names of different guilds they would want to win. Soon enough the commentators begin their announcements for the day.
"July 6th, The Final Day of the Grand Magic Games"
"At last! At last! It's here! The final day of the wizards passionate festival, The Grand Magic Games! Like it or not only one guild will be victorious today! I'm your MC Chapati! And next to me is former council member, Yajima-san, who will provide the commentary."
"Our special guest is none other than the mascot of the Grand Magic Games, Mato-kun!"
"Now then, the teams are about to take the field-kabo!" Mato announced enthusiastically.
At that signal, a few more pyros blast in red and orange colors. When the smoke clears the commentators announce each team and their placement.
"Currently in 7th place! Can they Turn it around?! Formerly a hunting dog but now a puppy, Quatro Puppy!" The members of said team looking around the arena, clearly eager for the match to begin.
"Alright, next up on the field is... Blue Pegasus, led by the current master of parfum, Ichiya Kotobuki! They are currently in 6th place."
"Here they are on the field! It's Lamia Scale. Right now they are in 5th place and sharing in that placement is Mermaid Heel!"
"Next up on the field in third place... Led by Kyo Kurosaki is, Akuma's Rose!"
"And currently in second place! Will they remain dethroned?! Will the two dragon slayers, the twin dragons, Sting Eucliffe and Rogue Cheney, challenge Natsu and Gajeel again?! And if so what will be the results of that rematch be?! Sabertooth takes the field!"
And currently in First place! Will this be the day the so-called strongest guild seven years ago comes back in full force?! Fairy Tail is taking the Field!"
After a couple moment of silence...
"W-what?! They've changed the members! This is an unexpected development! In place of Natsu Dragneel we've got...Akira!"
At the end of the announcements Erza turns back to look at us all. Her face serious more so than any other time. I lock eyes with her, Gray, Laxus and Gajeel. She says,
"Listen. We have no choice but to win. To get Lucy back!"
"Hopefully Natsu-san and the others will safely rescue her..." I replied.
"But we can't pin our hopes on that..." Gajeel grumbled prompting Gray to speak as well.
"Even so, we've got another motive for winning this thing."
"We've gotta win for the guys in the guild who had it rough while we were gone those seven years." Laxus says with a smile as he looked directly at me. He bends down ruffles my hair and places a kiss to my forehead.
