Vienna pov
Stiles dropped me off at home

"you didn't have to take me home you know I could've just drove home"i told him he puts his hands in his pockets

"I wanted to"he said I smiled

"well thank you"i said I unlocked my door my dad still hadn't come home

"this is me"i said turning back to stiles he still stood there

"stiles"i said cocking my head to the side he looks up at me

"huh? Oh uh...."he trails off

"what is it?"I asked him

"at the hotel did you...."he trails off I blushed

"yeah I mean it...I've had a huge crush on you since 3rd grade"i said he furrowed his eyebrows

"3rd?"he asked me I nodded

"you were just too into Lydia to notice"i said looking down

"I'm sorry"he said I shook my head

"no it's fine it's okay"i said shaking my head

"do you need a ride to school?"he asked me

"yeah since my car is still in the schools parking lot"i said he blushes lightly

"goodnight stiles"i said with a smile

"goodnight Vienna"he said I blushed again and closed the door

"dad?"I called out no one answered

"where the hell is he?"

Maya pov

"Hey, my dad said that the E.R. attending wasn't strangled but did die from asphyxiation They just don't know how"stiles said sitting down in front of Scott

"Do you think the on-call doctor could still be alive?"Scott asked as Vienna comes into the classroom I still hadn't talked to her yet

"I don't know... But, Scott, there's got to be at least 20 other doctors in that hospital... at least, you know? Any one of them could be next"stiles said then Scott gets a phone call

"Hey, doc Sorry, I'm in class right now Can I call you back later?"Scott asked I looked at him

"Doc, doc, doc, doc? What's happening?"Scott asked he looked at me

"what?"I asked

"your dad's gonna be taken"he tells me I got up grabbing my bag and rushing out the class before anyone could say anything

"Maya"scott called after me I took out my keys unlocking my car

"Maya wait!"stiles called out after me I opened my car door but Scott was much faster shutting it close and blocking the way

"get in or I'm leaving without you"i told him

"I'll drive"stiles said I nodded

"okay can we go now?"I asked trying to hold back my tears

"yeah let's go"scott said leading me to the car we got in the back while stiles and Vienna sat up front he quickly pulled out of the parking lot heading towards the vet the cops were already there Scott hopped out rushing inside

"How did you know?"I heard him ask the sheriff once I walked in the place was a mess

"Stiles called me as soon as you left school I'm sorry. Your boss's car is still here, and the back door was wide open. Scott...I need you to tell me everything"sheriff said I went over to the table placing my hands on it my eyes snapped shut I could see my dad he put up a fight that was so much like him my eyes opened and sobs escaped from my lips as my head hung low

"Maya"ibheard my aunts voice her hand placed itself on my arm I looked at her and hugged her

"I should've been here to protect him"i cried she shushes me and pulls me over to sit down

"I'll be right back I'm going to go have a little chat with your boyfriend"she said before leaving I covered my face and let out a sigh

"we're going to find him you that right?"she asked me I wiped my tears

"I don't know"i said with a shrug she reaches over to grab my hands

"I know things haven't been the same since that night but we're still sisters"she said making me laugh

"I don't blame you for being scared of me I'm scared of me"i said looking at her

"I'm not scared of you I'm scared for you silly"she said making us both laugh

"come here"she said pulling me into a hug this is why we were best friends

"nothing will ever separate us I promise"
