The buzzer went off and every player from Team Canada's bench flew off and raced to me in net. I was tackled by my best friend and Defensewoman Cathy Greene. I ripped my mask off as my Captain, Becca Roshell, jumped on top of me with the rest of the girls. If you can't tell, we just won gold for Team Canada. We stood in a line as we all received our medals. Team Sweden going first to get their silver medals. Then finally my girls were called up. "And finally for Team Canada Number 4 Wintr Scarlet!!! The announcer yelled over the microphone and the entire building erupted. "Winny!!Winny!! Winny!!" My team and the crowd chanted as I glided over the ice to the man holding the last golden medal. We raised our sticks one last time before skating off the ice and down the hallway towards our locker room. I was last to get into the locker room and apparently first to get blasted with champagne. Let's just say that night was pretty crazy.......
