"Hey! Quinn, wait for me!" I called. Gosh, she was fast. I finally caught up to her when she stopped to eat a snicker. I suddenly spotted Ivy ahead of us. She seemed to be stop and smelling the roses. Quinn spotted her and ran up to her best friend. And I was pretty much screwed.
Once I finally did manage to get to her, I admit, I was breathless. I looked up at Ivy. I had never been so close to a girl before despite having a sister whom I shared a room with. "Uh, hi Ivy!" I said. "Hello there Gary." She paused as I saw her eyes look over at Quinn whom was having a fangirl spasm. But Ivy pretended not to notice.
"Kiss you lovebirds!" Quinn squealed under her breath. That was when our lips accidentally locked on one another. Quinn had forced us to kiss for some reason. We managed to pull away at last and caught our breath.
I looked up at Ivy who was blushing a bit. I tried not to show my own embarrassment because, well Ivy was a friend of my sister and she was popular at our school. "Well, I suppose we shall be off then!" I announced. I walked away from Ivy; avoiding eye contact.
Quinn kept bombarding me with questions on the trip home. "So, did you like your first kiss?" She asked. I was annoyed already but decided to ignore the question. "Eh." I just responded with so she would stop pestering me.
Maybe tomorrow, Ivy would forget about the 'kiss'.
