I watched the rain pour down over my new neighborhoods' lonely street.
Today would be the day I left, and was I excited? Absolutely not.I had told my dad that I was tired of moving around, having to pack up whenever his job required him to move.
So he told me I could go to boarding school. Isn't that just lovely? So now here I am, in my dad's new house. About to get out of bed and face the dreaded boarding school up the road from here.
But I had to make the best of it, my dad never noticed me. I couldn't even ask him the time of day without him replying with something like, "I'm busy." Or "In a little bit."
At least I'd be able to be around other people in this boarding school.
And correct as many teachers as possible.Slowly, I got out of my bed. Dreading this new day.
Personally, I wish I could spend my time at the boarding school drawing stars and listening to Imagine Dragons.
I was sad to hear that wasn't under the school programs list.I walked over and opened my bathroom door, before turning the light on and sighing at my disheveled appearance.
My blonde hair had become a wavy mop on the top of my head, and my blue eyes were dark instead of there usual bright color.
Even my eyes knew I was gonna screw up this day somehow. I quickly proceeded to try and part my hair, with a brush. Getting it to fall back over my shoulders, in a way that made it look wilted. I then, grabbed my toothbrush and vigorously proceeded to clean my little bacteria collecting food chewers.
Finally, I began to look somewhat like a human again, and less like Golem's half sister.Quickly, I ran out the bathroom door, and then unzipped my suitcase, to rummage through it for a decent outfit.
I'd suffer through uniforms tomorrow.I finally decided on a pair of black jeans, a dark red sweater, a black beanie that went nicely with my hair, and my white converse.
Hopefully this would draw least attention possible. Though I would look weird being the only one without a uniform.I then, zipped my suitcase around, spending about ten minutes getting everything together. Before rushing out the door to wait for my dad to get in the car.
