I opened up the door to see a huge smile and coffee brown eyes.
I was quickly dragged into the room by the smiling girl.
She slammed the door shut and came and stood in front of me.
I got to take a better look at her, she was small, my guess only around five foot. I was five foot ten. So it was a pretty big difference.
She had dark skin, and curly brown hair that swirled around her forehead in a way that made her look like she was wearing a tiara.

The girl stuck out her hand, and we shook.
"Welcome to Morgan Academy! I'm Abigail Williams, your roommate!"
She said with a smile.
"Hey, I'm Noel Henson."
She smiled at me again, and then proceeded to tell me where my things go and what bed I had.

The room was small, it had two twin beds in it. Abigail had claimed the red bed closest to the door, so I got the blue. Not that it mattered anyways.

There were two dressers at the end of our beds, with three drawers in each.
There was a small bathroom in the right corner, a few feet from my bed.

This place didn't seem like it was going to be so bad.

I quickly unpacked my things, due to Abigail chattering about showing me around.
Her dark red and blue school's uniform swinging around as she twirled while talking.
I couldn't keep up with her words.
I probably should've tried, but I think it would've caused my brain a migraine.

Abigail then, after noticing I was fully unpacked, dragged me out of the room. Still talking a mile a minute.

I was dragged through the halls, as she pointed out classrooms and the cafeteria.
I guessed she had stayed out of class to meet me, because when I peaked through some doors, class was still in session. I peaked down at the watch on my wrist. It was 3:12, so they must get out soon.
As if reading my thoughts Abigail says,  "We start classes at nine and end at four."
I nodded. And we continued on our way.
By the time she had shown me all four floors of the school, it was two minutes to four. At least we were back down on the second level, only a few feet from our dorm.
Suddenly, a loud bell rang and people started flooding out of rooms.
Abigail stood beside me, jumping up and down and clapping her hands. How much energy does she have?

The two of us had to back up against the wall so we didn't get run over.

Slowly, the halls cleared and everyone was back in their rooms.

A girl with dark brown hair started to walk over to us, as well as a guy with dirty blonde hair. The girl appeared to be in my year, but I wasn't sure.

Abigail ran over to the girl, squealing and jumping around.
"HEY KAYLIE" She yelled.
The girl being only about a inch taller than Abigail, patted the squealing girl's head.
She then walked up to me and said,
" Hi, I'm Kaylie. And the doofus behind me is my brother max. Who's a sophomore."
I smiled and said, "I'm Noel, it's nice to meet you guys."
They smiled at me, and Max said,
"We've got a hour till dinner, what should we do?"
"Let's go outside. Haven't been out since yesterday morning. And I am bored."  Kaylie replied.
Everyone nodded and dragged me outside.

We walked through the big doors, and all sat down in a circle below an huge oak tree.
"So Noel, why are you here in hell- oops I mean school?" Max asked.

I shrugged, " I don't know, guess I
wanted to try something different. I've never been to a boarding school before. And so far, it's not so bad."
I didn't want to tell them the real reason I'm here, I didn't need their pity.
It was then Abigail's turn to ask a question, "Do you play any sports?"
I smiled, "Yeah, I'm an equestrian, though I keep having to switch barns since I move a lot."

"That's a sport?" Max asked.
I didn't want to blow up in his face, so I calmly said, "Yes, it's in the olympics for a reason." He blushed and I knew he must've felt stupid.
"Well you're lucky!" Kaylie said, " We have a equestrian team you can tryout for here!"
I smiled. Maybe this place could be some fun.
I heard the bell ring loudly,"Yes! Dinner!" Max yelled.
We went inside, but not before I noticed a mop of bright red hair dash around the corner of the school.
