Spending more than a perfect afternoon with Neville, Kefira felt much better than she did when she was leaving Slughorn's lesson, however, it was short-lived as it just seemed whenever things were returning to normal, the drama continued to unfold around them. Kefira had to admit to anyone willing to listen that she was thankful that when it came to her and Neville they never really experienced any problems with each other and when they did, they could at least say they talked it out. They could always see where the other one was coming from and it left them able to work things out, unlike their peers that resulted to yelling and getting half-crazed with their teenage hormones taking control.
Kefira was tricked as she entered the common room with Neville to find Seamus practically skipping about with a bright grin on his face. "What are you all smiley about?" She questioned. "Set something on fire in the recent seconds before we arrived?"
Seamus' skipping took a brief pause and the smile faded as he gave her a look, but it didn't last for long as the smile returned. "No, if you must know, I learned something very interesting this afternoon, care to guess?"
"You finally figured out what you're going to make of yourself in life?" Kefira asked him in a flat tone. "Oh Seamus, we've all been waiting for so long. The many nights we stayed up praying for you into the late hours-"
Seamus to grab a pillow from the sofa with a threatening look before he proceeded to chase her around the common room while Neville stood awkwardly waiting for their antics to come to an end. Although it did appear after a few minutes that it probably wouldn't come to an end on their own leaving Neville to grab Kefira and place her behind him, which brought Seamus to a complete halt as he was not going to go challenging Neville. Kefira stuck her tongue out at Seamus, knowing that he wouldn't be able to retaliate in that moment, but it did earn her a look from Neville.
"Kefi..."
"Sorry," she said with an apologetic grin. "Anyways, Seamus, what's the good news, what happened?"
"Dean and Ginny broke up!" Seamus clapped his hands together as if someone had told him that he had just won a prize. Neville looked mortified but it became even worse as Kefira let out an excited screech and joined Seamus in the celebration. Neville was more than confused wondering if he had heard something completely different than what Kefira did. They appeared to be really happy about the breakup scenario as they embraced each other in a hug, even though a minute prior Seamus had been chasing her around with threats.
"Wait, am I missing something?" Neville called out, making the two face him. "We're actually happy that two of our friends broke up?"
"Well, when you say it like that, Nevs," Kefira turned to him, "yes. Yes, we are."
"I don't understand-"
"Nevs, darling," Kefira said in a rather posh accent that did not sound right coming from as she wrapped her arm around his shoulder, or at least, attempted to. "We've been waiting for this moment, now that Ginny and Dean have called it quits, that means we can move forward with our other operations."
"I'm still not following you," Neville said, his face still flushed from when she had called him darling.
Kefira lifted up her two index fingers. "This is Dean," she said lifting up closer to his face, " and this is Seamus."
She brought them together and then pulled them apart to rename them. "Now, this is Ginny," she repeated the same actions as before, " and this is Harry."
She slammed them back together. "Make sense?"
"No."
Seamus cleared his throat, rubbing the back of his freckled neck before looking back and forth between the two. "This could be my chance, right? Fix my mistake from before?"
