Even the Headmaster, the great Albus Dumbledore could not argue with Kefira, simply because she wouldn't let him. She claimed that she was dropping Defence Against the Dark Arts and that was it, there was no need for a further discussion, she was not going to allow Professor Snape teach her if he was going to carry himself in such a manner. She truly wished that she could get the other students to drop the class as well, hell, even get all the students to drop the class just to make a statement, but she knew it wouldn't be possible. Many of the older students needed the class for their final N.E.W.T.s and for their careers, so they weren't going to give it up and she was sure many others were much too afraid to drop it as well.

She was going to have to be single lioness on her boycotting campaign, although as she walked out of the headmaster's office and made her way into the corridor, she honestly felt relieved. So many years of going back and forth with the professor, she didn't have to do that anymore. At least, she wouldn't have to do it in his class. She was sure he was probably going to try and make her life a living hell in the corridors, but that didn't matter. Kefira was proud of herself, she stood up for what she believed in and in that moment, that's all that mattered to the girl.

If she really wanted to keep up with the class, she was sure she could go to Hermione or Neville for some help. But now, she could enjoy herself, it was like being on a mini-holiday as she had free class time to herself. Rather than catching up on assignments or getting ahead on her reading, Kefira knew exactly what she was going to do with her spare time.

Heading back to the Gryffindor common room, she greeted a very confused Elizabeth, who was wondering what the girl was doing there since the others had not returned from class. Only the portrait didn't get an answer as Kefira simply gave the password and entered the common room. It was quiet and peaceful, no drama, or yelling, just silence. Flopping back on an armchair, she placed her feet up in front of the fireplace and closed her eyes resting her head back.

"This is nice," she sighed to herself. She wondered how long it would be before her parents found out what had taken place, luckily, they couldn't send Howlers, unless they were in contact with Bandile. She grimaced at the thought of it and tried to send the thought out of her mind. Suddenly, she felt something fall into her lap, bringing her to look down.

"Trevor!" She greeted the toad happily, scooping her hands under him and lifting him up. "I feel like I haven't seen you in ages. Neville and I actually thought you found yourself a pretty lady toad and ran off together to be married."

The toad croaked loudly.

"Man toad?" She corrected herself in a curious tone. "Doesn't matter, it's just good to see you, friend. Times have been quite hectic since we last spoke. You wouldn't believe it...or perhaps you would, you are quite intelligent....anyways, I finally did it. I told Snape off and not only that, I told Dumbledore off too."

Kefira swore she saw the toad's eyes widen as Trevor looked up at her. "I know," she said nodding her head. "I actually wasn't planning on it myself, but it needed to be done and I feel so good about it. The only thing I didn't like was leaving Neville behind, I hope Snape doesn't go after him. But if he does, I have no problem delivering round two. It really makes you feel better once you get it all off of your chest, you know what, I should do it to Slughorn too. He's on my last nerve too."

Trevor croaked once more, leaving her to sigh. "I suppose you're right, I shouldn't get too carried away, that'll really cause some damage. I'll space it out or something, I promise."

Trevor seemed content with her promise as he remained quiet and settled in her lap, although it didn't last long as classes finally came to an end. Neville must have rushed like a bat out of hell to get back to the Gryffindor Common Room, in hopes of finding Kefira and learning what cruel fate she was facing after such an outburst in class but not just anyone's class, Professor Snape's above all people.
