remain asleep or in bed later than usual in the morning.
"Akira, wake up."
A soft voice barged through his eardrums, calling his name repeatedly as the hand on his shoulder shook him gently.
"It's past nine already," the voice informed, followed with an inaudible chuckle.
His eyes suddenly opened wide over the word 'past nine' and he jumped out of the bed and yelled atop of his lungs. "I'M LATE!!"
The young lad called Akira was just about to pull the drawer below the bed when his girl grabbed his hand softly. She was giggling, her heterochromic eyes hidden beneath her lids. "What are you late for," she asked. "It's Saturday."
"Heh? Ah--oh--," he stuttered as he went back to the bed and sat on the edge, scratching his head and gave the girl his sheepish grin. "I thought I'm late for work."
He then stretched his arms and glanced at the girl next to him. He gave her a wide grin, which she replied with a confused look before turning red as Akira gave her a peck on her cheek, making the girl's cheeks as red as ripe apple.
"Good morning, Leon!"
