"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU??"

"Nothing."

"YOU'RE SCARING OFF MY SATYR FRIENDS IS NOT NOTHING!"

The black scaled dragon sighed, he averted his bright yellow eyes from the tiny nymph in front of her, looking mad at him, though with that kind of size it was hardly scaring the dragon whose size was probably a thousand times bigger than her.

"They're not your friends, they're lusting after you," he whispered low, glanced at the tiny forest fairy in front of his majestic dragon form. Her green-blue eyes sparkling under the low light of torches in his nest, staring at him unfrightened. "I saved you."

The nymph frowned even more, then snorted. "And why's that matter to you?"

Allegra, still in his dragon form, kept his mouth closed. He knew it wasn't really his place to do so, knowing he was nothing but a stranger to the nymph, the creature every forest dwellers wanted to be their lifelong companion because of her looks and her beautiful voice. She was small, eyes as blue and bright as lake at the piedmont, wearing leaves all over her slender built as her dress, flowers and foliages crowning her small head, and the loyal wooden staff in her grip, following her everywhere she goes, including the dragon's cave where she was currently scolding the most feared creature in the entire forest.

"Stay away from my friends," the usually high-pitched voice lowered, her face was sour and unpleasant though those things didn't fade her beauty even a bit. She turned around to the cave's mouth and was about to leave the dragon when she found out it was raining cats and dogs outside, followed by rolling thunders in the distance, sign of the upcoming storm.

"You're allowed to stay here tonight," the low, husky voice startled the nymph at the entrance. He looked uninterested, but deep down inside, the dragon was quite thrilled to own her for himself even just for the night.

Maeve, the nymph, crossed her arms before her chest, her brows still furrowed just like when she entered the cave to scold the only male dragon, the leader of his kind. "You're gonna step on me with that humongous feet of yours when I'm asleep, so, no. Thank you."

Allegra rolled his yellow iris, then in one breath, he showed her his human form. Less space-consuming, obviously. "Then it's okay if I'm in this form?"

The nymph turned around just to let her stubborn self surprised on the sight of the dragon's new form. He was only twice her size now, his hair was dark coloured, a pair of dragon horns protruding from above his ears. Almost his entire body was covered with the same black scales he's having in his dragon form, and there was a tail attached to his back, with small, sharp horns along his spine. His eyes remained the same: slit-shaped pupils in the middle of bright yellow jewels, filled with expression of loneliness.

"That's better, but I'll still be watching you," she tried to suppress the surprise in her voice, trying to put up a front. It took a few more minutes for her to eventually came deeper into the cave, sitting across the dragon in his beautiful human form before the dragon hinted to switch places with him, giving her the softest, warmest place in the cold cave where she spent the rest of the night, sheltered from the storm.

HAHAHAH THIS IS THE LONGEST DRABBLE SO FAR

So this is a story me and Schreidner once thought of, what if Allegra and Bunny were in another universe where they're different mythical creatures with slightly different characteristics and so Allegra the dragon and Bunny a.k.a Maeve the nymph were 'born'.

Hope you enjoy this one as much as I do! ❤
