Sun wasn't even high, but the blonde haired girl in her boyfriend's jersey, was already restless. She kept clicking on the TV's remote control, jumping one to another news channel every ten seconds, her forefinger impatiently tapping on the armrest or twirling her dyed-red hair tips.
The news anchor on TV was just starting a report of stock exchange when Bunny stood up, reaching for her phone on its charging stand before unplug it and took it to the kitchen. Her thumb started scrolling on the smartphone's screen while her other hand was busy making herself a cup of coffee to calm herself down.
It was already the sixth week since she last seen or heard from Allegra, since he told her he was going on a deploy for an unspecified time period. He did tell her he was going to be hard to reach or reaching out to her, and no single contact was to be expected.
She know that this would happen since she also learned about military life and she once infiltrated the country's military base to know very well during deployment, no general phone signal will be available, only the satellite ones and they weren't intended to be used for private phone calls.
But still, she missed Allegra. A lot.
Even after a cup of coffee she still couldn't relax. Despite her brain telling Allegra was nothing more but a friend with benefits, her heart knew well it wasn't true.
His presence already filled her weekends, spending the precious 48 hours together, before both of them going back to their dangerous fields of work, with lots of affections towards each other, being normal citizens like other people do instead of a military echelon visiting his mysterious girlfriend. After a few weeks, Allegra definitely had own his place in Bunny's heart and brain.
Bunny already forgot what she did for weekends before Allegra came into her life. She even often forgot who she was when Allegra is around, spoiling and showering her with things she never thought she deserves.
She was deep in thought of what was Allegra doing, snapped back when her golden retriever nudged her knee with his nose, his food bowl hung from his mouth. Bunny glanced at the clock and startled how late it was. The sky was already orange-coloured, and the night will soon fall.
'Which means I spent half of a day worrying him?'
Bunny chuckled to herself. Though her hands and eyes were glued to Remmy's dinner, her mind was far away from home, to where Allegra was, which she didn't know where.
Then she turned to her dog, asking whether she actually need and fell for him, which Remmy replied with a head tilt, confused of what his owner was asking then startled her with a bark, asking for his food right away.
The light haired girl only chuckled, then put Remmy's bowl down before whispered low: "I miss him so bad, Rem."
SECOND TODAY!
Yeah, Bunny needed quite a while to admit she needed and wanted Al, all for herself. She denied the feelings because her father taught her that kind of feelings will only weakens her, distracting her from her excellent work.
But apparently the more she denied it, it came back stronger. Until later, Bunny confessed to the person himself because she couldn't stand thoughts of Allegra being with another woman or getting too far from her reach.
Bunny has fallen AuA
