it was a gloomy, rainy night. the clouds dark as stone, slowly moving across the sky, blocking out any light from the stars. i was sitting in a tiny cafè, looking out the window, waiting for my coffee. raindrops fell down the window in splashes. such a gloomy day, for yet such a warm, coffee night. relaxing music played quietly through the restaurant. somehow calming my nerves. a waitress walked over to my table and placed my coffee in front of me, steaming clouds wisp out the top. nodding and saying a low thanks, i hold my coffee, the feel of it warming my cold hand. blowing and taking a sip, i relish in the sweet cream. a little sound of thunder rang in the distance, making me look out the window again at the rain. it seemed to pick up, more drops falling into the window, everything outside looking like a blur. calm music, coffee, rain. it seemed like such a great night. sad, that the stars where blocked out from the world, but happy for the music. i take a napkin from my table, and a pencil from my sweatshirt pocket. i start drawing little doodles, sipping my coffee. wow.. the music, the coffee, the drawing... everything is so perfect... except one thing...

her.

you know the one. the girl of my dreams. i remember her like it was just yesterday. her smile.. her laugh.. her voice.. everything about her was just... perfect...

until one day... it's like she just faded out of my life..

i take the photo of her out of my sweatshirt pocket, and just stare at it. a single tear rolls down my face and onto the cafè table.

"i will find you one day..."

"i know it..."
