The Sequel: Getting Closer with Dricki

Tahiti

Nicki had just landed back in L.A. from her video shoot & was now on her way to get gabby.

She pulled out her phone to let Drake know that she was on her way

Drake: hello

Nicki: I'll be there in about 15 minutes

Drake: alright

They hung up.

While Nicki was in Hawaii she had a lot of time to think about where she wanted things to go between her and drake. And she was still stuck on not having a relationship with him. She felt betrayed by his love & couldn't find it in her heart to forgive him for it.

She finally pulled up to drakes mansion & got out the car

*knock lnock*

Nicki stood there and waited for drake to answer. When he came to the door she was embraced by her daughter who missed her dearly.

Nicki: someone missed me

Gabby: I missed you

Nicki: haha. I know. But how about you go get in the car while me and daddy talk, okay?

Gabby did as told

Nicki: so how was this weekend

Drake: good. I mean I got time with my daughter

Nicki: yea, well the day I left for Hawaii gabby asked why you didn't live with us

Drake: yea?

Nicki:yea

Drake: what you say

Nicki: that you were sick

Drake: well she is getting up there in age where she's gonna start noticing every little thing around her

Nicki: yea I know... How's your, ya know, baby mom, girlfriend or whatever y'all are to eachother?

Drake: why Nicki

Nicki: well I'm not tryna say anything out of pocket but Chris was telling me how him and her still hangout & still talk and stuff

Drake: you're telling me this because...

Nicki: I thought you should know

Drake: and I thought you should know that Gabby's birthday is coming up

He said changing the subject

Nicki: I know. I was thinking about taking her to Tahiti or something. They have this really nice kid beach there & I think she'll like it

Drake: that's fine. Just let me know when it is.

Nicki: well her birthday is Saturday, so we're leaving on Thursday

Drake: oh so you just have everything planned out

Nicki: well seeing that you were in the hospital for 2 weeks, I had to do it on my own.

Drake: alright I'll see what I can do.

Nicki: okay

And with that she left.

Wednesday night...

Nicki and gabby were laid up in Nicki's bed. Nicki was on her blackberry taking care of business and gabby was coloring.

Nicki: gabby I think it's time for you to go night night

Gabby: but why mommy

She said not looking up from her coloring book
