Everything is Falling in Place

1 month and a half later....

Drake has just gotten home from his studio session.

Drake: Nicki..

Drake yelled as he waited for a response.

Nicki: I'm in here

Nicki yelled from a different room in the house. Drake walked into one of their many rooms, in their mansion.

Nicki: hey babe

She said with delight as she was sitting comfortably on a couch doing Gabby's hair. Drake walked up and gave gabby a kiss on the forehead and gave nicki a kiss on the cheek

Gabby: hi daddy

Drake: hey baby

Drake lounged in a spot next to Nicki

Nicki: how's your day been going

Drake: straight, I guess. I'm real tired tho.

Nicki: how'd your studio session go with Wayne?

Drake: it was straight. We got a lot of shit done

Nicki: shh. Don't say that in front of her.

Gabby: mommy said that's a bad word daddy

Drake: it is a bad word. So don't ever say it.

Gabby: k

Nicki: so I've been thinkin. I know we haven't been engaged for that long, but I think we should start planning our wedding.

Drake looked at her

Nicki: I mean, just start looking into venues and little stuff like that...

Drake still just looked at her.

Nicki: c'mon. Don't you agree

Drake: like right now? Do you think right now is a great time? We barely have time for eachother as it is. And to find time to plan a wedding is definitely not in our radar right now

Nicki: okay mommys done.

Gabby: do I look like a princess mommy

Nicki: a young queen in the making.

Gabby went to one of her bathrooms to see how she looked.

Nicki: like I said tho, we can just focus on the little things. I don't have to go get my dress right now or pick out my brides maids. It was just a thought. We don't have to plan right now if u don't want to.

Drake could tell that Nicki was a little down, just because getting married was a very touchy subject for her.

Drake: okay if we were to start planning, where would we look into for venues?

Nicki's mood changed quickly & now she was very excited that drake was giving in.

Nicki: well I was thinking Toronto at the top of that really big hotel that Bubby loved so much. And since she's not here to witness this with us, the least we can do is be up as close to her as we can at her favorite spot.

Drake had no words for Nicki. He was shocked and happy at the same time. he was happy that Nicki thought about his grandma who had passed away.

Drake: come here

Drake pulled Nicki closer to him.

Drake: you know I love you right?

Nicki: I love you too baby. But I gotta go.

She got up from her seat.

Drake: that's what I meant to ask you, where y'all goin?

Nicki: I got a interview with Nessa & I'm goin over tygas house so King & gabby can hang out.
