The Sequel: Getting Closer with Dricki

It is What it Is

It's been almost 2 weeks since Nicki's been in the hospital & today was her day to be released. Mama Carol was the only one at the hospital with her at the time. Mama Carol took all of Nicki's bags down to her car & was now getting Nicki ready to leave

Mama Carol: Onika are you ready

Mama Carol yelled to Nicki as Nicki was in the bathroom getting herself together.

Nicki: coming

Moments later a female doctor came in to officially release nicki.

Doctor: hellooo?

She said as she crept in the room

Mama Carol: hi

Doctor: hi, I'm here to have Onika sign her release forms.

Nicki then came out of the bathroom.

Nicki: hi

Doctor: hey Onika. I just got a few papers here, and I'll take that annoying little neck brace off of you

They both laughed a little. Nicki signed her papers & the doctor took her neck brace off

Doctor: okay can you just nod your head up and down for me?

Nicki did as told

Doctor: good, now just stretch your neck slowly.

The doctor had her hands around Nicki's neck lightly just to make sure all of her neck muscles were working properly.

Doctor: very good. Now like I said earlier. Go home and get the best rest, try not to work too hard & eat light foods. K?

She gave her a huge smile & before she walked out she reminded Nicki to get her prescription filled for her pain killers. nicki threw on some sunglasses and was ready to finally go home.

As mama Carol & Nicki made their way to the car the Pap'z were going crazy. They all tried to get nicki's attention. But Nicki wasn't in the mood for pictures, let alone false allegations about her from the pap'z. mama Carol helped Nicki in the car, then went around to the driver side & off they went

Mama Carol: so are u coming to my house or yours

Nicki: mines will be okay

Mama Carol looked at nicki, knowing everything wasn't okay with her. But she decided to not talk about it, because she could tell nicki wasn't really in the mood.

1hr later

Mama Carol: home sweet home for you baby

Nicki opened her door & walked slowly up to her door steps, while mama Carol got her things out of the car. Nicki unlocked the door & walked in to see gabby & drake sleeping on the couch. Mama Carol then walked in & noticed that Nicki & her family needed alone time

Mama Carol: okay imma leave now

She walked up to Nicki and gave her a kiss on the cheek

Mama Carol: call me if you need me

Nicki: love you ma

Mama Carol blew her a kiss & then she left.

Nicki walked over to where gabby & drake was sleeping & tapped drake on his shoulder

Nicki: drake.... drake....

He finally woke up.

Drake: when did u get here?

Nicki: shh

She pointed a gabby letting him know she's sleeping

Nicki: come here

She motioned her hand to let drake know she wanted to talk in a different room. They walked in the guest room and Nicki got comfortable on the bed while drake sat at the end of the bed

Nicki: so let's talk quietly about what happened with the whole Rihanna thing

Drake: at the time it felt like the right thing to do. I never knew how much I could hurt you or how much of an impact I had on you

Nicki: so after we got engaged you still went over there & what happened?

Drake: uh, the day after I went over there to let her know that everything was done & I guess she took it the wrong way.

Nicki: drake, do you think I'm stupid. Like I know I've been in a car accident, but that didn't leave me with no brain.

Drake: I went over there, I told her what it was, then I left.

Nicki: that's it?

Drake: yea

Nicki: so this girl barges into my hospital room to tell me what you just told me? c'mon drake, I know you don't take me for a fool

Drake: I did kiss her. once tho, but it meant nothing

Nicki starting tearing up.

Nicki: but to her it probably did mean something. Drake, you can not go around the fucking world & kiss every girl or fuck every girl without consequences. I can't even count on one hand how many girls you've cheated on me with.

They just sat there

Nicki: how long do you think it's gonna take until I just give up. You can obviously see that I love you with everything in me, because if I didn't I wouldn't be here right now. But the thing is, I wanna be your wife, I wanna have more babies by you, but this behavior of yours has to change. Not only are you hurting me, but these girls out here catch feelings quick. You might have another baby on the way and not even know it.

Drake: I know what I do isn't fair for you & I'm sorry for stringing you along this whole time.

Nicki: like don't ask to marry me or to be your fiancé just for a title. Don't do it because of the look. And don't do it because you think imma just wait around like I used to. Do it because you love me.

Drake: if I was to give up the fame & the fortune & "Drizzy Drake", to be with you... I would without second thoughts. I rather be broke and happy, than rich and miserable. You and gabby is all I have to look forward to when I wake up. Y'all the first thing on my mind when I go out & perform, or when I'm signing deals.

Nicki: yea? Well were we on your mind when you were out doing your dirt? I don't know any woman who would stay around for this long & put up with your bullshit. But because I'm stubborn, I rather deal with your bullshit than watch you suffer in it by yourself.

Drake sat there and rethought about all of his bad decisions he made that effected his family.

Nicki: and that's real.

Nicki rolled over in the covers to get some rest

Drake: you want company?

Nicki: I'm good.

Drake got up & kissed Nicki on her forehead & walked back out to the living & laid back down with gabby.
