Chapter 6: The Devil's Love

2 days after working on the project:

Mondays. I hate Mondays. And that was today's day of the week. I set off my 2nd alarm (good thing it didn't get to the third alarm) and tried to go back to sleep.

Someone yanked my covers off and I replied with "Mom, please just 5 more minutes." A manly voice replied with "Sorry sweetie but we have to go to school now."

I rolled over and opened an eye. Daniel stood there and I sat up in my bed. "Are you going to be doing this everyday?"

"Yup and you better get used to it." he replied.

What was he getting out of making my life impossible? He didn't see me before. Why now?

I sighed and got up out of bed. Then I got my clothes to change.

I am going to put on some black leggings with a white t-shirt.

"Get out, Im going to change and when you do, lock the door behind you, okay?" I said. I then watched his every move to make sure that he did lock the door. I didn't want a repeat of last time.

He locked the door and I changed. When we went downstairs, my mom was there and she greeted Daniel.

The weird thing is that they were talking like they were good old friends. The thing is that I kind of used to always told my mom all my crushes. (Judge me all you want) 

So I talked about Daniel ALL the time. But now I HATE him. It's a deep deep hatred.

We than went to the car and he drove us to school. When we got there he just parked the car and we didn't get out. I wasn't waiting for him to open the door for me or anything just that I felt that he wanted me to stay. So I did.

I said "Do you want to get out or-" I was cut of by his swift movement. He grabbed my face with his hands and put his lips on mine. He had his body up against my body and I had my hands on his neck. The caress of his lips were soothing and I don't know why I didn't stop and with that kiss it seemed as if I was the only girl in his world.

He finally stopped as his phone rang and when he did, he left me wanting more. What is happening to me? I thought as he pulled on his jacket. I got up and straightened my hair. My lips were starting to hurt but I couldn't do anything about that.

Daniel was the first to say something as always. "Listen I know you think this might not be true but I like you." I said awkwardly "No you don't you're confusing it for something else."

He turned to face me with those blue eyes of his "No really listen to me I know you might think I have no feelings but I actually like you okay as crazy as that might sound I'll prove it to you right now." Daniel then went jogging towards the school's main office.

I got out of the car and called after him "What are you doing, you're crazy!" He answered me back with "Yeah crazy with love for you!"

As soon as he reached the main office, the loudspeaker turned on. When whoever it was started speaking, I recognized that voice. It was......Daniel?

"Attention all you fellow students or whatever they say, this is me Daniel Logan Evans to say something really important."

Oh god what is he doing I have to go after him.

I ran to the school and he continued his announcement. "I Daniel have a crush on this very cute and smart girl that I love very much and no one I repeat no one is going to change that and by the way, Quinn Im breaking up with you it wasn't really working out anyways. Thank you all and have a good rest of the day!"

I stood there frozen as I saw him come out of the main office. What just happened?
