Chapter 5: Starbucks,Crush,and The Devil

Today I woke up at 8:47 and I started to get ready because I told Karla she could pick me up at 9:30. I forgot to tell you that she can drive! Im like the only teenager that doesn't drive. I know weird.

You might think its weird but Im kind of scared that if I drive, the supposedly​ so called "driving gods" are going to do something wrong and Im going to crash. And BAM that's the end of me.

So anyways, I got ready and put on a yellow sundress. I also love dresses. Not the skin tight ones. I like the flowy type of dresses. So I put a yellow dress on. Then I tied my hair on a ponytail. I hadn't mentioned any of my features before. Here I go.

Okay so I have blonde hair with blue eyes. Yep that's me.

So when I finished tying my hair, I grabbed two 2 dollar bills, my phone, and a purse. I admit that sometimes I might act a little girly but that's only sometimes.

I then rushed down the stairs as I heard Karla honking the horn of her car. I got in and she drove off. We were blasting music in the car. Mainly listening to Charlie Puth and Ariana Grande because we love their songs for some reason. We were also blasting one of my favorite songs called No Promises.

"What are you going to order?" Karla asked me.

"Caramel Frappuccino and probably a chocolate chip cookie." I replied.

She nodded her head in agreement and then she parked in the Starbucks parking lot. We went inside and I looked at the menu/food billboard at the top of the cashier.

I immediately freaked out after I saw the Caramel Frappuccino's price was a lot more than I expected.

It was 3.75 at the lowest and I only had 2 dollars! There was no way for that cookie to be paid for! Sorry cookie maybe next time. Im broke no money no food. Sadly.

"Karla you might think this is selfish of me but can I borrow 1.75 I only have 2 dollars." I said awkwardly.

"Sorry Liv, but I only have enough for my coffee I really wish I could help." she politely answered.

I sighed and started to walk back to our table to wait for Karla when I saw Marcus come in the store.

He locked eyes with me for a moment and then he started walking towards me.

"Hey what are you doing here?" I said.

"Wondering why you don't have a coffee?" he replied.

I looked at my hands and said "I forgot how expensive Starbucks is and only brought 2 dollars with me."

"Well Im not going to let a beautiful girl miss out on her Starbucks!" he slyly said.

I smiled awkwardly and said "Oh you don't have to do that!"

He grabbed me by the hand and dragged me to the cashier and told me to order what I wanted. And with that, he was paying for the coffee.

He was so cute and apart from that he was also nice.

So he ordered coffee too and when we both got our orders, we went to where Karla was sitting and we joined her.

We talked basic chat and then Marcus offered to take me out to eat later in the day. I was about to say yes of course I would! But the I remembered that I have to finish the project.

Why does Daniel have to be in the middle of EVERYTHING!

So I said no in the most polite way possible. I felt so bad but I honestly prefer my grades than boys. Sorry Marcus.

After that just so he wouldn't get the idea that I had a boyfriend I said that I had to do the project with Daniel. He said it was okay and that he understood.

Awww I'm officially in love.

Then he offered to take me to the house. I agreed and we left. I said goodbye to Karla and I also told her sorry we didn't get to spend any time together.

She said it was okay and that we could meet up in her house tomorrow.

I said okay and then I left with Marcus.

We didn't talk for most of talk ride since we didn't really know each other.

...

We got to the house and on the way on Marcus had told me a really funny story about when he was a kid.

So when he was 12, he was riding his bike. He was biking down the path and through the woods of his neighborhood.

He's going to be here for 3 years and he's Daniel's cousin btw.

Back to the story. So then he crashed into a tree and he fell on his head and became unconscious. The funny thing is that his family didn't notice he wasn't there for 1 hour or so. Since he was usually quiet.

He ended up walking back home and his family still thought he was upstairs by the time he got back.

"It was a pretty messed up story but I admit it was funny" he said chuckling.

I laughed and that's when we entered the house to meet my eyes with him.

Daniel looked furious. Like if he had seen some steal his car and 100 dollars from him. But I don't know why. I didn't do anything and I was here on time too.

He told Marcus to "get the heck out of here."

Marcus left after that. Too bad.

...

"So then we write down all the experiment information and decorate it and we're done!" I said.

"Okay so are you sure that all of it is right." Daniel responded.

I rolled my eyes and said "Who's the smart one here?"

He rolled his eyes and pointed to me.

I nodded and went back to work on the project.

He starred at me and I looked up from the project. I said "What?" He smiled and said "Sorry beautiful, you look cute concentrated on the project and I couldn't help myself." I blushed.

He was actually complementing me on something other than my body (the body that I don't have).

We spent the rest of the time awkwardly looking at each other. I admit I might be starting to have feelings for him and Marcus.

You might say I'm a player or the h-word (not saying it). But I don't even know if either of them like me. Why does love have to be complicated???

So I had a little writer's block for this chapter so sorry if its not as dramatic or detailed as you guys expected. The next 2 chapters are probably going to be more dramatic and there's going to be more love action going on so stay tuned. ❤❤
