It was time for your play. Three months of planning and rehearsals, and it's now time to show it to the world. You reached for the hand of a certain goat next to you and slipped yours into his. He gave your's a slight squeeze. You wished it was always like this, you and Asriel holding hands, just feeling content and happy. It was always a pleasant feeling to be physically touching Asriel. 

"It's almost time, (Y/n), love. Remember, watch your tail. Also,  the speakers might be loud at first, so brace your ears. Even if you miss that, you will do great, just don't over think it." Asriel whispered to you. This is why you love him, he was caring and sweet, gentle and passionate. A true guardian angel, a true gentle flower.

The past three months with him were filled with loving and content feelings. Asriel didn't give you fancy, expansive things. He gave you something better, pure honest love. You did the same. 

"Alright everyone, remember, this is not a rehearsal, it is the real deal, so do your best! We're on in one minute." Your leader said, utterly ruining your content moment. Your boyfriend saw this.

"After this, I'll treat you dinner, as a celebration of our hard work. After that, when we get back to our dorm, I have a surprise for you." He whispered in your ear. "For now, let's give the audience a show of a lifetime."

Just as he finished, the stage darkened and the play started.

After the play, as Asriel promised, he treated you diner. Nothing fancy, just at a nice, quiet restaurant with good food, and that was it. You didn't have a big dinner, but just being with your prince, that's all you really need. 

After you both finished, you when back to the campus and back to your dorm. When you got back, the first thing you did was curl up on Asriel's bed. You yawned and started to fall asleep.

"(Y/n), not so fast. I still have something for you." Your prince said, getting you to look up. He was hiding something behind him. He had 'your smile' on his face. Gosh, you could forget the world with that charming smile.  "Close your eyes." You did as you were told. 

In the dark, you felt something being placed on your neck. Then, something on your finger.

"Okay, you can open them now." So you did. You saw on your neck was a collar, not a hard leather one that someone would put on you before, you know, but rather a soft leather one with hearts and flowers. On your hand, you saw that there was a small ring with hearts in graved in it. You look at Asriel. Before you could speak, you saw that he had making accessories. He smiled.

"I made these in my spare time. Don't worry , nothing expansive. The rings are just copper and I have a thing for sewing designs on things." He laid down beside you, pulling you close to him as you uncurled. "Just a way to keep anyone away from you." You laughed a little.

"I love you too." 

"Good night, love. Sleep well." 

Soon, you both fell into blissful sleep. A sleep that was loving and sweet. When you two would wake up, you'll both be content to no end. You both loved this, being with each other. In both of your hearts and souls, you both knew that this was real, honest love. Not fancy things, no lustful pleasure every night, if even at all, nothing sappy, just really love. Love that can only come from the heart. The unconditional love that would be willing to set aside everything, to give up anything just to be with the other. Love that only needs the other. 

Love that could only be given. Nor bought, not bribed, not forced, not taken, but given. 

This love could give more to your lover then things.

Love is your content. Love is your heart at its purest.
