You woke up early. Your first class wasn't until ten, so you really had no reason to get up yet. You took your phone from your side table and unlocked it. You just wondered about your phone to keep yourself from getting bored and getting out of bed, but your tail was starting to get claustrophobic under your blanket and your ears started to twitch like mad. You knew that you have to get up or else you'll get tail cramps and migraines from to your ears constantly twitching. So, slowly and tiredly, you got up and stretched, letting the sleep escape your muscles, and waking yourself up. Once you were done with that, you let out a relaxed sigh, further pushing your drowsiness away. It felt good to be up, despite your former attempts at not wanting to.
You looked over at your follow monster roommate, who was, by luck might have it, the Prince of Monsters, Asriel Dreemurr. You stare at the sleeping monster, finally getting a good look at him. Soft white fur, long fluffy ears, horns on top of his head, and for some reason, two black streaks that went from his cheeks to near the corners of his eyes. He had paws instead of hooves and his eye color you still didn't know. He started in his sleep, you looked away quickly, fear that he might catch you rudely staring, but Asriel didn't wake up. You went back at staring at him, now his blanket on when up to his hips. On his back was more black markings, intimidating yet graceful at the same time. Asriel turned again, this time he was awake. He caught you, you didn't look away fast enough.
"Hey, (Y/n but mispronounced), right? There's nothing to be ashamed about, because, to be completely honest, I kinda stared at you last night before I fell asleep. So, really, you have nothing to be ashamed about." The Prince said to you in a soft voice. His eye color was a soft light green.
"My name's pronounced (Y/n)." You let his words sink in, "Wait, you were staring at me?"
Asriel nodded, getting up from his bed. As he did, his blanket fell off of him, revealing his rainbow colored underwear. You averted your eyes, embarrassed. Asriel noticed this.
"Oh, sorry. I should have mentioned that I sleep in my underwear sooner and in a more civilized manner." The caprine monster apologized, rather embarrassed as well. Well, today started off weirdly.

You walked to your dorm, you just when through three classes of your professors nonstop lecturing. You arrived at your dorm door. You opened it, seeing that Asriel was already back from his classes as well. The prince looked at you as you stepped in.
"Howdy, (Y/n)! How was your morning?" Asriel asked you kindly.
"It was fine, could have used less talking." You answered. Asriel laughed a bit.
"Good one." He gave you a warm smile. It was the kind of friendly smile that could brighten up anyone's day. You gave him a smile back as you closed the door. You then placed down your bag and fell onto your bed, face first into the mattress. You relaxed after a while, you were just about to fall asleep when you heard the door open. You looked over to see a person walk in with a blue and purple striped shirt, you couldn't tell if the person was a boy or girl.
"Hey, Asriel. Could you help me with something?" The person asked Asriel, who turned to see them.
"Um? Oh, Frisk," Asriel gave a welcoming smile, but it wasn't like the one he gave you. This one was, or lack of a better description and word, more general and plain. "of course, just tell me what you need help with?"
You let the two of them do their thing. Closing your eyes, you fell into a peaceful and restful sleep. You had a short dream.
You were back in your house, your mom and dad were cooking as you watched them in awe. They work together so fluently and in sync, one could swear they're robots. The grace they showed could only be compared to a sunset. Soft and lovely, but so powerful and passionate. You smiled. Then you felt something over your hand. You looked to see what it was.
"(Y/n), wake up!" Asriel shook you, instantly waking you up. You got up, blinking your eyes. "God, your awake. It's almost time for club meetings. I just wanted you to know, in case you were in a club. You still have twenty minutes, so take your time." He gave you a smile, the one that he gave you when you got back from your classes. "I'll be going now." He got off your bed and walked out.
Why does he give that smile, you thought, and not anyone else? No, I'm just being paranoid, I'm sure he gives it to other people. You got up and changed into more casual clothing before you too left for your club. You couldn't help but wonder, did Asriel give the kind of smiles he gave you to anyone else?
After a bit of a walk, you reached your club called Music and Acting. As you walked in, you noticed that Asriel was also there. He gave you the smile as you sat down next to him.
"Hey, I didn't know your part of this club, you didn't seem to be that kind of person." The caprine prince told you.
"I could say the same for you."
