Unforgettable

Chapter 2

Clarkes POV

I felt someone shaking me as I sleepily opened my eyes.

"Clarke wake up" it was my mothers familiar vouce. Doing as I was told I slowly sat up and reached over pulling my phone of the charger.

I sleepily got out of bed changed, brushed my teeth, and combed my hair before heading down the stairs. (Hey that rhymes)

I pulled out my phone agian and checked the time 7:40! I quickly grabbed  piece of toast and said goodbye to my mother before practically sprinting to school. Second day and im late great way to start the school year...

I headed through the school doors and into the busy hallway. I honestly had no clue where biology class was so I just wandered around the first floor before I completely ran into someone.

"Oh my gosh im so sorry" I said standing up and looking at brunet her books now scattered across the floor "Here let me help you" 

I reached out my hand to help her up "Oh hi Lexa" I got her on her feat and helped her pick up her books. 

"Hi Clarke" she said a small smile forming on her face. Damn shes pretty.

My moment was interrupted when another brunet girl stepped forward. 

"Um excuse me new kid please move WE have places to be" Well alright then. I quickly stepped out of the way handing Lexas books to her. 

"Here Lexa"

The girl stepped closer to me "Did I say that you can talk to her? Because last time I checked you had a school to ruin so best leave now"  I pursed my lips holding back my emotions like I was locking them behind my teeth.

"Im sorry" I said and started to walk past her

"Luna what the hell was that" I heard Lexa say before I walked into the bathroom

Lexas POV

"Luna what the hell was that" I watched as Clarke quickly hurried away and ducked into the bathroom

"Just making sure she dosen't ruin your life as usual saving your ass." she said rolling her eyes. How dare she.

"Im sorry what did you just say to me?" I said rasing my voice a little stepping towards her "Because im pretty sure you didnt just say saving me" by this time all eyes where on us. It was like every single person in the whole school was sitting here watching us.

"I didnt I said saving your ass" she said giving me a disgusting look

Thats it thats all I needed to here i grabbed the collar of her shirt pushing her against the lockers. "Im sorry but when i did need saving you know what you did? Mhm? you sat in the sidelines watching me come to school with new cuts or bruises or scratches. Aright? So if you wanted to save my ass you should have done it then." with that i shoved her back against the lockers real-sing  my grips from her collar as I heard the loud sound of the metal of the lockers being shook.

I walked away the whole crowd going "oooo". Luna was in shock at my actions and I didnt regret a thing. She turned to me grabbing my arm just before I was out of reach "Lexa wait im-"

I cut her off before she could finish "Let me guess your sorry. You didnt mean to hurt me well guess what im not so touch me agian and I will end you." I pulled away from her grasps and started to walk down the hallway 

"YOU KNOW WHAT LEXA YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED THAT DAY JUST LIKE THE REST OF YOUR STUPID FAMILY" she yelled to me. I stopped dead in my tracks feeling the tears forming in my eyes.

I gazed out the window at the never ending trees. They were green like my eyes my mom always told me. Finally my family and I would be seeing NYC. Ive waited my whole life to see the big city and I couldnt wait.

I was in 8th grade and my life seemed perfect just a family trip to New York. Well my dad and older sister stayed home to study for her finals. She hated that she had to miss this but I promised we would go back sometime.

 I had my headphones on and was listing to some of my favorite songs like Im Yours and  Feel it Still. I hummed along to the tune which seemed to entertain my little brother Aden.

He was a 2 grader and had bleach blonde hair and bright blue eyes almost the exact opposite of me.

 He was smiling and having a good time his little smile always made me smile. He was so cute and I loved him so much even though he couldn't spell half the words in this sentence.

Our good time quickly came to an end when I heard my mom scream. I looked up from Aden and saw a car driving straight at ours. It collided with our car sending shocks of pain through my entire body.

The car rolled probably 3 times before stopping on its side. Using the little stenght I had left I  reached over and grabbed Aden picking his limp body up. No no no I crawled out of the car him in my arms staring at the huge cut slicing down his forehead.

I checked for a pulse quickly it was faint and dying down. No no no please take me not him! He reached out his hand grabbing mine tears now rushing down my face. I heard his muffled voice say "I love you" before his eyes closed for good. "I love you to" I said his small hand still in mine.

I stood there frozen in my tracks anger and sorry forming in my chest. The crowd must have noticed because agian everyone and I mean everyone was saying "ooo" I geard some of there private whispers

"Oh she did not got there" one said

"Lexa is going to kill her" another said and he wasnt wrong

I turned around anger speeding through my body. I looked into her eyes fear growing in them. Oh how badly I jst wanted to punch her but I had more important things to tend to this could wait.

I turned around agian walking down the hall away from the crowd and walking into the bathroom.

I heard the muffled sound of crying coming from the last stall. I quietly walked over to the stall and knocked on it 

"Clarke?"
