Chapter 18

3 hours till game time—-Lexas POV

There she went. Off into the woods
"Anya!" I called out following behind her
"Anya! Wait" I was only a few steps behind her now almost in arms reach as we entered the woods. She said nothing to me but kept walking when...
*snap* a twig broke from what sounded like above us. We were only a few feet in the woods by now when we heard the twig snap. We slowly looked at one another anyas glowing eyes filled with fear. Slowly, we turned our heads to the sky and saw nothing but brush and leaves.
I looked at the tree tops for minute longer eyebrows complexed.
"Well I think we're just paranoid let's get back to practice an—" she wasn't there. Where the fuck is Anya. I turned back towards the field ready to run when I felt the hands of someone cover my mouth and rush of sleep taking over my mind and body.

2 hours till game time—-Clarke's POV

"I need caffeine " Raven said rolling off the bed with a thud
"And I need weed" octavia said back, rolling off the bed onto Raven. I looked at them and rolled my eyes I swear if I role them 1 more time they'll never stop spinning. I opened my phone expecting a cute snap from lexa since her practice was over but instead was met with a text from an unknown number which just read "hey".
I thought nothing of it brushing it off as a wrong number text and put my phone down, still a little upset that I hadn't gotten a snap from lex though, she looked so good sweaty.

1 hour till game time—-Tabis POV

"Ok where the hell is lexa and Anya" I said to the panicked team in the locker room. They were never late to a game never.
"Lexas Proably with Clarke and anyas Proably with octavia" someone in the bag had said. Everyone immediately bursted into laugher.
"Ha ha funny I'm being serious, we have an hour till our most important game of the season and two of our head captains are gone" I could tell I abs gotten the teams attention now all eyes on me. I looked around and noticed how quickly their attitudes had changed when they realized I was serious.
"Ok maybe they're in traffic I'll call them the rest of you finish up warmups then get ready for lineup, ok break" I said quickly
I pulled out my phone first calling Anya. It rang once before getting declined
"That's weird" I said to myself
Next I called lexa. It didn't even ring but went straight to voicemail.
I put my phone back in my bag my hand shaky with nerves. I couldn't lead the team hell I can't even play with my broken foot. I need lexa and Anya where the hell are they fuck. I walked out of the locker room not noticing that I had gotten a text from an unknown number...

1 hour till game time—-Clarke's Pov

We're soccer games always this crowded? I asked myself as we walked into the bud soling stadium filled with fans. The teams were still out on the field warming up. I scanned the busy field for lexa but she was nowhere to be found. Maybe she was still in the locker room?
"Guys we need to go sit down their about to start the lineup!" Octavia said excitedly
We quickly went to our seats meeting up with agustus who warmly smiled at us all.
"You made it!" He said warmly
"Somehow yes" Raven said looking at octavia
"Shut up you almost made us late not me" she snapped back
"Shush shush they're starting" Augustus said like a kid watching his favorite cartoon
The announcer went through the away team first aka the south side team. I laughed not hearing Finns name be called, guess he wasn't as good as he thought he was.
*Announcer "And for our home team! Your captain Lexa Woods!....Lexa woods?" *
She never walked out of the locker room.
