Chapter 16

"Seat belts everyone!" Gustus said with a smile. I've always loved road trips there's just someone about the wood flashing past and the feeling of the car that instantly puts me to sleep
Lexas tournament was down in the outskirts of ton dc which meant we were in for a good 2 3 hour drive.
"SING US A SONG OH PIANO MAN" sung raven from the back seat
"SING US A SONG TONIGHT" sang octavia back
"WERE ALL IN THE MOOD FOR A MELODY AND YOUVE GOT US FEELING ALRIGHT" we all sang in unison.
The first hour continued like this is just screaming songs back and fourth and really just having a good time laughing and smiling not a care in the world after that first hour though I was out cold dreaming of my beautiful wif-I mean girlfriend ha ha...
I woke up to the sound of gustus screaming "WELCOME TO THE SOUTG SIDE TON DC" raven Octavia and I quit lying spring awake and admired the beautiful wooded area and small dinner along the road.
We pulled up to the hotel where we would be staying for the next three nights "South DC inn" it was a quaint little building but it was beautiful on the inside. We packed our bags and walked inside admiring the beautiful central area of the inn filled with historical artifacts such as weapons and spears.
Octavia and raven quickly ran to their rooms while I sat and admired more of the interior while I waited for gustus. It was perfect o was with my best friends and I get to see my girlfriend kick ass in soccer? Sign me up taht is until I saw the familiar yellow green jerseys...the jerseys of my old school. My heart sank they can't see me what if Finns here what if jake is here fuck what if they were all here.
I froze feet planted starting at the team it was the boys and girls team together and I was terrified.
Suddenly octavia pulled me out of my trace realizing what was happening and quickly pulling me towards the room "Hey Clarke calm down ok? I bet they don't even rember you and besides those jerks don't deserve your time"
"Octavia you-you don't understand what-what if he's here" I struggled to get the words out of my quivering mouth.
Octavia looked down grabbed my hands and said to me in the calmest voice"if hes here I will personally slit his throat" that made me giggle a little bit knowing that I have people who can protect me this time is such a weird feeling.
I don't feel alone in this battle anymore.
———4 hours later at dinner———
"Hey lexa" I smiled seeing her walk over to me before embracing me in her arms and kissing my cheek
"Hi Clarke, how's my princess doing?" I smiled so big my heart melts when she calls me princess. We got in her black challenger and went to one of the small dinners i saw on the road earlier with gustus.
We pulled into the little log cabin dinner and lexa hurried out to open my door for me "Oh why thank you you're so kind" I said with sarcasm. Lexa smiled back taking my hand in hers and walking in the small dinner. We talked and talked and talked over a dinner of cheeseburgers fries and milkshakes a classic date of I do say so myself.
"You're sleeping in my room with me tonight right" lexa said with a mouthful of burger in her mouth
"Of course ce I am babe" I said in reply drinking my chocolate shake. She smiled and soon after we payed and left for the car.
As we were driving back to the hotel she slid her hand on my thigh which instantly gave me butterflies. We got back to the hotel her hand inching further up my thigh. It was around 9 by the time we got back and we hurried up to lexas hotel room which happened to be empty... lexa looked at me up and down wide eyes and said "I think I need some good luck before the game tommrow" smirking and taking off her shirt to reveal her stunning abs and tattoos.
"Oh you do now" I said starting to take off my jacket. She smiled and pushed me down on the bed kissing my neck then taking off my shirt and going to work.

I woke up in lexas string arms cuddles into her chest that's when I realized I hadn't out on any cloths and was butt ass naked so I guess that's cool. I laid there admiring her beautiful jawline and face structure while she slept so peacefully. I can't believe I found her and how lucky I am to have her. About 20 minutes later Octavian and raven ran through the door "CLARKE CLAR-ohisthisnotagoodtime" raven said with a smirk.
I smiled "ya ya what do you want" I said cuddling closer into lexa as she began to wake up. 
"So there's a slight issue" they both paused looked at each other and said "lexa is up against your old school today" my heart sank.
My life was finally getting better and now the memories of that horrid place began to flood back in. "And Clarke raven" said shyly "he's here".
