I go through lunch with just about everyone further from me than usual. They only move away when I'm angry but, there's a different vibe in the air today. All eyes are on me even if they aren't physically or directly. All conversations are about me. All the hate is on me. The worst part about it is I'm actually starting to feel bad about it.

Part of me wants to yell and break everything and another part of me wants to just cry right there at the table by myself not caring if anyone hears me or sees me. My body chose to go with the latter option but I know in my heart that no one will care what I do at this point. Which was exactly what happened. Everyone stabbing me with their stares and whispers, making the tears stream faster down my face. Just then the unthinkable happened. The entire cafeteria went silent...

Then just as dramatically someone started to slow clap. They were getting closer and closer to me as expected. I didn't dare to lift my head though I could stop crying. It just stopped flowing so quickly. Then there was a voice assumed to be coming from the same person clapping. It was Kayle. Great...

"Come on everyone. Let's clap for the best prank of our class. The Heart Breaker cries because he doesn't know how to deal with the emotions he apparently didn't know he had. No seriously, someone give this man an Oscar, those look like real tears on the table he's sitting at. Wait what? They're real?! Huh, who knew?" She mocked me while just about everyone laughed. I couldn't move because then everyone would see my face wet with tears and my eyes all glossy. She knew that and used it to her advantage. She used my pride as a weapon and every single word stung. She knew that I would be forced to sit here vulnerable and endure her torture.

"What's wrong Aden? Can't one of your girlfriends come to your rescue? Oh right you don't have anymore because everyone knows and doesn't trust you. Those that did disowned you. Will no one cheer up this pity case? Don't you have any friends- oh wait looks you fucked that up too."

She got closer with every other sentence and question. Then she whispered for only me to hear.

"This is for every girl you've ever played, every so-called friend you've ever lost due to a girl, for Alexis and most importantly it's payback for trying to screw me over, twice." Just as she let out her final word she lifted my head by my hair revealing my soaked face and the huge wet half circle of tears on the end of the table. I saw everyone looking at me. They looked on me with disgust, judgement and everything other than pity.

"You deserve this Aden!" She made sure everyone heard her. I got up pushing her out of my way running out of the cafeteria putting my hood on trying to avoid all the eyes, laughter and phone cameras following me.

"Aden Brooks, Ladies and Gentlemen!" she began clapping and laughing as I ran.

I ran all the way to the art room and hid in the same spot as before with the lights off. I put my arms on my knees and pulled them in as I sobbed. She was right. I deserved everything that just happened. It was all on me and everyone knew it. About five minutes pass and I hear someone walk in the room without turning on the light. The atmosphere grows absolutely silent after the footsteps come to a halt.

"Oh Aden." It was Kayle whispering and mocking me still. "Where are you?"

I kept silent and pushed myself further into my corner. I seriously need to change hiding spots because she's the second person to just "randomly" come in here looking for me.

"Okay seriously I just wanna talk. No more embarrassment. It's just me." I kept quiet. she starts to pace the room slowly but purposefully, making her footsteps loud with the heels on her boots. I heard no other voices but I still didn't trust her so I continued being silent. She probably has her phone out ready to snap a picture of my face when she finds me.
