It took Andria about 5 minutes to keep everything in her locker and Samantha, Tiffany and David were very tired of waiting for her.
Samantha grunted, "Come on, Andy! What's taking you so long?", she grumpily asked.
Andria shut the locker and swiftly walked to her best friends, "Relax, Sammy. I was just finding my sketchbook.", she said, showing her sketchbook to them.
David was very interested in Andria's sketchbook, he looked at it and was amazed by its lovely cover, "Your sketchbook looks so cute! Can I...look at your drawings inside?", he asked.
Andria nodded and opened her sketchbook for him to watch, she drew more than thirty pictures and each of them were all Goddesses from the Greek mythology.
"Wow! You like gods?", David asked.
Andria nodded, "I'll show you my favorite one of my drawings.", she said before turning to the page that she thought was the best drawing in her sketchbook:
"Medusa?", Tiffany peeped.
"Why would you draw Medusa?", Samantha asked.
"Cause she's cool, I like her.", Andria said.
"How can you be interested in a brat who's arrogant and boastful and was cursed into a monster before unintentionally turn every single person into stone when they look into her eyes?", Samantha sarcastically pointed out.
"I don't know why but every time I think about her, she reminds me of myself.", Andria confessed seriously.
Samantha leaned to David's ears, "She's crazy.", she whispered.
David gave Samantha a dirty look, "Samantha! Don't say like that to your BF.", he scowled.
"That's OK, David. She just said it for fun. Why don't you let us go and take a look at your condo?", Andria said, trying to change the subject.
"Yeah, that's what I'm about to ask you guys.", he said.
"David's right, we should visit his condo. So next time we can go again.", Tiffany explained.
"Wait, can I go with you guys?", a voice asked.
Andria turned to the voice and saw Sebastien smiling at her and her friends, "Sebastien, you wanna come too? Of course you can!", Andria happily said.
"I wanna see David's house too, so I can get to know his parents as well, right David?", he asked.
"It's just my Uncle and I.", David sadly revealed.
"Oh.", Sebastian said. "Well...let's just go and talk to David's lovely Uncle!", he cheered just to make David feel happy.
...
When everyone arrived at David's condo, they all waited by the door politely while David went inside the kitchen to greet his Uncle, Ian Hatcher.
"Uncle Ian, I'm back.", David said as he went to put his bag down on a sofa before Ian showed up, he was about fifty and a half years old and had the exact same blue eyes that David had.
"Evening, Dave.", Ian greeted his nephew until he saw Andria, Sebastian, Samantha and Tiffany standing by the door. "You brought...friends?", he asked David.
David nodded, "Yes, these are Samantha, Tiffany, Andria and Sebastian.", he told his Uncle.
Sebastian went to shake Ian's hand, "Good evening, my name is Sebastian Harris, I'm your nephew's Math teacher.", he said.
"Oh, nice to meet you, Mr. Harris. I'm Ian Hatcher, Dave's Uncle.", Ian said. "I've been taken care of this little Dave since when he was just a baby, his poor mom went missing right after giving birth and his dad...well, my twin brother was found dead in his own bedroom for over ten years ago...and the reason of his death is still unknown until today.", he miserably added.
After hearing that sentence, Andria turned to David with sympathy.
"Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that, David.", Sebastian said in David's direction.
David shook his head, "It's all right, sir. I still have my Uncle by my side, I still have money to buy all my favorite books and I also have a very happy life with him.", he said and looked at Ian who laughed happily before hugging his nephew tightly with love.
Ian turned to the girls, "Oh, ladies, Are you all planning to have a dinner here with me and Dave tonight?", he asked.
"It's up to Andria.", Tiffany said.
"Her parents doesn't like when she returns home late.", Samantha added.
Ian nodded, "Ok, then no dinner tonight.", he said.
...
After that, David decided to take his friends to his bedroom where all of his collections of Percy Jackson books were placed on the shelves. Not just only that but David also had many Greek goddesses dolls!
Seeing this made Samantha felt uncomfortable, "Um, David. Are you sure that these are kids' toys?", she asked with disgust.
David turned to Samantha, "Yeah. Why?", he simply asked.
"Because they look scary.", Samantha answered.
Tiffany went to David's shelves and picked up one of his Percy Jackson books, "David must be seriously obsessed with these things.", she said. "That's why he adores Andy's drawing of Medusa so much.", she added.
"Well, that's true. You can refer to me as a geek if you want.", David said as he searched his bookshelf.
Andria giggled and Samantha rolled her eyes rudely, "Yeah, whatever.", she said.
"Ha! Found it!", David suddenly exclaimed after he had been searching the book and showed it to Andria.
Andria looked at the cover of the book that says; "The Medusa Reader" before gently turned through the pages of it, she then closed the book shut and stared at David with the look of pure happiness. "This is literally what I've been finding.", she told him.
David giggled friendily, "It's yours.", he simply announced.
Andria couldn't believe her ears, "What?", she asked.
"I know that you're always keen and enthusiastic to learn about her story...so I'll give it to you. Besides, I got it free from a bookstore as a promotion of one of my Percy Jackson books and I think that perhaps if it's important for me, then it might be a precious gift of me to you.", David confronted with a smile for Andria.
Andria smiled widely, "Thank you so much, David. I owe you.", she said.
Tiffany, who was listening to David words cheered by giving her friends an adorable applause while Samantha sighed at them with boredom.
