They walked down the grey stoned steps and had a silver and cream-white carriage stop infront of them. The footman jumped off and greeted the two ladies with a slight bow and his hand on his chest to represent respect.
He opened the carriage door for them and gently whipped the muscular horse ordering it to start moving. Ureena began to sing a song, looking out the window. Fiddling with a pink-peach-goldish object between her fingers.
She sang" flower gleem and glow let your power shine 🎶
Save what has been lost
Bring back what once was mine 🎶what once was-"Ureena was interrupted seeing the sight before her. It was her long last friend (Henry Flammel) She couldn't believe her eyes. She blinked a few times to confirm she was not dreaming.
Lady Amber jumped off the carriage with excitement as she gave Henry pretend kisses on either side of his cheeks. Greeted him and did the "how are you's"
While Ureena rolled her eyes in annoyance.Lady Amber looked at Ureena with a playful evil smirk. Before hoping back into the carriage but this time in the front seat where her daughter would be left alone with Henry in the back seat.
Henry took off his hat and stared at Ureena. With a small smile filled with memories before he jumped in the carriage holding a maroon suitcase.
"Hello, how are you?" he greeted facing her while she rudely continued to stare out the window staying very silent. "Hope you are well." he continued waiting for a reply of some sought. She remained silent.
"Are you mad because I- " he was interrupted by Ureena's outburst
"Mad?!" she exclaimed her eyes wide and nostrils flared unattractively. Still not making eye contact with him. "I'm not mad I just don't want to face you right now." she frowned facing her whole body towards her side of the window."It was not my intention to hurt you it was just my- " he was interrupted once again by her rage
" Don't, thats enough. Why does everything have to be about you!" she screeched trying not to raise her voice."Well if it's not about me, then speak to me." he pleaded
"There is absolutely nothing to say to- hey! Give that back immediately. Henry had recognised what Ureena was clutching at between her skinny fingers. He grabbed it quickly from her.
That's when she first made eye contact with him since since he entered the carriage."You kept this necklace all this time?" he asked in disbelief as his eyes became glossy. He examined the necklace and then had a flashback.
He remembered as his parents left him in Lady Amber's castle because his parents were awfully busy and couldn't keep an eye on their child. His father was a merchant and his mother loved to travel and make money because she was hard working.
So that's when the freckled face, ginger haird eight year old boy met the gorgeous six year old Ureena. That was before Lady Amber's nephews were born.
Henry grew up always going to Ureena's home because his parents were Lady Amber's close friends. They trusted her with their only son. Henry and Ureena were the best of friends. As they grew up together they knew everything about each other. Henry knew exactly what to get his best friend for her 18th birthday.
He made her a necklace of horse hair. Then painted it peach-pink and plated it making it look beautiful. Then in the centre of the necklace was an infinity sign made of pure gold. Then put the gift in a navy gift box.
Not noticing since she had her nose stuck in an intriguing book, she didn't see Henry creep behind her covering her eyes with his soft hands. "Yes, how can I help you Henry?" she giggled sure that it was him.
"Aww how'd you know it was me?" he whined
"I can smell you."
"Oh and how do I smell like?"
"Rather awful I must say." she held her nose. Surprised at her answer he span her around on her chair to make her face him. Giving her the 'are you serious' look. "Im only kidding." she laughed, you smell of blue berries."
"Good." he felt better but knew she was joking in the beginning.
