Bryle's Point Of View
I jumped in bed.
"Haa" I sighed in relief.
I was staring at my ceiling while recollecting my memories of studying with cyne.
She's wonderful. And of all the people I met online, she's by far the best.
"Oh cousin." I heard a chuckle from outside my tent.
"Austin. Its late why are you here?" I asked
"Checking up on my favorite cousin. How was your tutorial session with cyne? " he asked
"It was great." I smiled
"But I know you're a genius. So I suppose your topic earlier is what? A B C for you? " austin
"What? No. Haha" sagot ko
"Don't lie to me bryle. You grew up studying. Baka nga mas matalino ka pa sa tutor mo." Austin
"Actually no, she taught me some things I never knew." I said
"Talaga? That's surprising." Austin
"Believe me, nagulat din ako but I expected to learn things that I missed haha." I replied
"Right. She's cute right?" Austin
"I haven't seen her face" I said
"What? But you're video chatting." austin
"We are but the cameras aren't directed to our faces." I chuckled
But I am curious. Her voice sounds sweet and angelic. I wonder how she looks like. But I don't want to show her my face..
"Wow. Pakipot kayo. Haha!" Austin
"Austin. She's my tutor. Meaning our relationship is only all about studying. Stop giving meaning to everything. " I chuckled
"Alright." He said in a mocking tone
"Seriously. There is no way I can even be in a relationship. Do you see me austin? Im practically in a bubble and will be for the rest of what's remaining of my life" I said
"Wala akong sinabi haha. But for me, you can have fun." Austin
"My idea of fun is reading books." I said
"Nerd." Austin
"Better not to be like you. But what is she like?" I asked
"Cyne? She's beautiful, tiny pretty face, rosy cheeks, she's always smiling. Long black hair, Fair skin, red lips. But the chest... well nothing to comment about." Austin laughed
Sama talaga ng pinsan ko.
"Haha. Gusto mo kasi mga ano eh." I said
"Haha I have my needs." Austin
"I don't need to know that. Haha" i said
"But she's really nice. She's your type of ideal girl" austin
"My ideal girl?"
"Yes. Remember when we were kids? You said if you get married, you want someone beautiful, smart and kind like your mother " austin
Oh right.
"Well Im grown up.And I realized I cannot be married." I said
"Have faith cousin. Miracles happen. " austin said
Miracles. I stopped believing those long ago. Hope is the most cruel thing in this world.
So I stopped hoping for anything. I will not spend my life hoping. So instead, i'll live how I want to.
"Maybe."
"Ayan ka nanaman." Austin
"What did I do?" I asked
"You're showing that part of you that doesn't want to believe. "Austin
"Ano ka ba. You're taking everything so serious. Haha. Of course I have faith."
"Your mother won't let you down." Austin
"I know that she wouldn't. " I answered
"Great. I'll get going. Oh and I forgot to tell you something. " austin
"What is it?" I asked
"She's single. So grab your chance. " austin

"Don't " I said
"So you do like her?" Austin
"She's my tutor austin. Don't. " I said
"Alright alright. Stingy."
