Class hour namin kaya heto na naman ako't inaantok. Gusto ko ng matulog dahil sa sobrang pagod maging working student, trabaho sa umaga at aral sa gabi. After an hour na last subject namin I carried my stuff and left our room.
"Nakakastress naman tong week na'to "
Napapayuko na lang ako sa sobrang pagod.
My phone vibrated, someone is calling.
"Hello Pa?" Sagot ko sa cellphone ko.
"Nak, kumusta na?" I heard papa's voice. Mukhang alam ko na naman kung anong kailangan nila kaya diniretso ko na lang kung anong dapat deretsuhin.
"Yes Pa wala pa akong sahod kailangan ko pang magbayad ng tution this next sem pati sa boarding house. Pasensya na baka di muna ako makapagpadala. Tiis muna wala muna kayong panggala." I said then bigla na lang naputol yung linya nang bigla akong may makabungguan.
"Aw.." I was surprised when I look up. Shucks ang laki ng paa.
Schucks!
Tapos nagulat ako kasi may dalawa pa pala siyang kasama tapos lahat sila naka suits para silang men in black. Gusto ko na sanang tumakbo pero mismong kaluluwa ko iniwan na ata ako. Mukha silang mga sindikato in formal attire.
"Sorry." Napatulala na lang ako nung makita ko yung nakabunggo sakin.
His masculine body and serious face.
"Ah okay lang ako." Sagot ko agad sa kanya
"Sir are okay?" The other guy said
"Yes I'm fine." He replied
Tapos bigla akong hinarap ng isa pang lalaki pa.
"Miss, next time don't get in the way." The other guy said sabay lakad nila.
"Shucks? What was that? Ako pa talaga ang humarang?" Kung di lang talaga ako pagod ngayon ay nako papatulan ko talaga kahit anong mangyari sakin at kahit gaano pa sila kalaking tao.
Dumiresto na ako sa locker room para kunin yung mga gamit ko. Pero biglang tumunog yung school's speaker at may nag-announced.
"Ms. Cyne De Vera please come to the DEAN's office immediately."
I ran out there, sa sobrang kaba ko nagpunas muna ako ng pawis then i knocked at the door.
"Go inside please." Pinapasok ako ni Dean pero hindi lang pala kami yung tao dun.
I was surprised when i saw the guy I bumped earlier. Ano to?
"Mr. Austin she's our best student on campus, Cyne De Vera." The Dean introduced me.
"Good evening, you're the girl from earlier." He said then offered his hand.
"Hello po." I accepted his hand
"By the way my name is Austin Wang you must be wondering why you are called here after your classes." He said
"Uh- yes actually, did i do something wrong?" I asked
"Oh no, Dean kindly inform her." He said
"Miss De Vera please take a seat." Inoffer ni Dean yung upuan sa tapat nya saka sya umupo sa swivel chair nya. The guy was sitting across my seat. Medyo awkward dahil for the first time ko syang nakita sa school na'to and he looks like a very rich man tsaka ko lang narealized na yung mga inakala kong mga sindikato kanina eh mga bodyguard nya pala.
"Ms. De Vera this is Mr. Wang the school founder's son. Mr. Austin would like to offer you a job." Dean said
"But I'm still a student Dean." Sabi ko
"But you're a working student aren't you?" He said
"Yes Dean." I replied
"If you accept Mr. Wang's offer you no longer have to pay the tuition until you graduate. And you no longer need to work as a helper in our school canteen." He said.
"You mean every semester I won't have to pay anything at all?" I asked
He nodded.
"Don't worry the payment for the job is separated." Mr. Wang said kaya napatingin na naman ako sa kanya.
Is this for real? Medyo nagningning yung mga mata ko, isipin mo na lang wala akong kailangan pang bayaran. Pero wait ano nga ba yung trabaho.
"By the way what kind of job are we talking about?" I asked them one more time
"You'll be my cousin's tutor. We will contact you tomorrow since there's no classes." Mr. Wang said
"I'll take the job." I said
